Do you like paying top dollar for mediocre food? If so, this might be the place for you. A 16″ pizza costs $21, yet I’ve had frozen pizzas that were genuinely better. The pizza itself was extremely floppy, the sauce was unusually spicy, and the toppings slid off. To make matters worse, there wasn’t even Italian seasoning available.

The “rolling pins,” were the most expensive mozzarella sticks I’ve ever seen at $7 each, and unfortunately, they were pretty bad. Because they’re so large, you have to cut them into smaller pieces just to eat them. The flavor was strange as well, with an odd pepper-like taste.

The atmosphere didn’t help the experience either. The restaurant was uncomfortably cold, and many patrons, including myself, were wearing jackets indoors. A massive TV blasting football commentary at a high volume dominated the space, so don’t expect any sense of ambiance.

As someone who is mindful of environmental impact and waste, it was also disappointing to see that they only offer single-use “6-in-1” cutlery kits. If you wanted a fork, you were forced to take a spoon, knife, salt, pepper, and napkin as well, most of which went unused.

The only saving grace was that the staff was friendly.

Don’t be fooled into thinking high prices and strong ratings guarantee quality. Do yourself a favor and eat somewhere else.

Guys, you make an awesome pizza! This is the first 24 inch NY style pizza I have seen in East Tennessee, awesome! Some people might think the olives are salty, but those are Kalamata olives, which are very expensive. The sauce is not super sugary like Papa Caesars, from what I could tell, it is a very authentic red sauce, which is what they originally served in Italy, San Marzanos? They actually bread and deep fry the mozzarella sticks (rolling pins) right in front of you, they don’t come out of a freezer already breaded from a food service truck. Did the guy at the counter give me a hug when I came in? No, he asked me what I wanted and I ordered, some people say that they are rude there, no, they are doing their job and they were very busy. It’s an old-school pizza place which I love! I can’t wait to come back! Good job guys.

Just recently discovered this place while traveling through town. Great little pizza place with good service and great food. You must try the rolling pin cheese sticks. Very tasty. We opted for the 24 inch pizza and it would feed a group of 6 easy. We barely ate one piece each. Crust has a crunchy bottom and soft edge. We had half Manhattan and half yes honey. Both were very delicious and lots of toppings. Wednesdays are $1 wing nights. We tried the hot honey and garlic Parmesan. Both were very tasty. Definitely give this place a try if you are hungry and traveling by.

Stopped by Baker Boys Pizza Co in Knoxville, TN, and this right here was the move. The moment you walk in, the vibe grabs you. Heavy 90s nostalgia, super laid back, and it smells incredible inside.

The wife and I couldn’t decide on just one pizza, so they offered a half and half option, which was perfect. And most importantly, the pizza itself tasted amazing.

I went with the Pineapple & Proud with bacon, jalapeño, and pineapple. And yes, the pineapples are cut fresh, not canned. You can really taste the difference. Sweet, juicy, and balanced perfectly with the heat and bacon.

Her side was the Ricotta or Notta with red sauce, sausage, red onion, ricotta, and a honey drizzle. That combo just works.

Their marinara sauce is a solid 10 out of 10, and the crust had that perfect crunch with a great chew.

To top it off, the customer service was awesome.
If you’re in Knoxville and love pizza, Baker Boys Pizza Co is absolutely worth the stop.

We tried Baker Boy Pizza for the first time, and we fell in love instantly! The restaurant was warm and welcoming. The staff and service were attentive and friendly. Since half of our family grew up in NY, we have high standards for good quality pizza. Baker Boy brought me right back home with their authentic taste and pizzeria vibes. Our pizza was HUGE! The oversized cheese sticks were out of this world! We can’t wait to visit again in the future!

This place blew my mind! I’ve seen the review on how large the pizza is, but it’s been forever since I’ve seen a pizza so big. Not to mention the “rolling pins”! Ordered the 16″ Big Texas and a half order of rolling pins and OMG could not barely eat 1/2 of it. The mozzarella sticks were ginormous between 3 of us we didn’t eat one. The 16″ Big Texas was sweet and spicy and we barely got through an entire slice each. My husband and son both forced in another 1/2 of a slice cause it was soo good! Absolutely, highly recommend this place while sitting next door enjoying a beer or a flight!

Everything was great! The friendly staff, the atmosphere, the service, the food, beer, the works! Not a complaint to be had! The restaurant itself is the nicest establishment in a 10 mile radius. We ordered the 16 inch pizza, half Manhattan Project and half pepperoni. Something about the sauce is interesting and separates it from other pizzas we’ve had. It’s very good and different, always refreshing!

Well we tried to go to Pizza Palace, a drive in pizza place in Knoxville, but they decided to close for the week, so we ended up about a mile away at Baker Boy Pizza! Very cool little place, especially for just happening by! Cool stuff up on the walls, rock music playing and skateboarding on the tele.

They have foot long cheese sticks (rolling pin) and very tasty pizza! It is NY style, a bit on the thicker side, which I enjoyed. Also love that they have bottled pop available from Boylan out of NY.

This place is the bomb! I’ve eaten here multiple times and it’s great. The gyro pizza is awesome along with the ricotta or notta. Some people say it’s expensive but the portions are huge! We got the chicken, bacon, mushroom white pizza today and it was delicious. Gonna add a balsamic drizzle next time. Also, got some rolling pins and they did not disappoint! Keep it up, guys!

First time visit! The pizza crust was crisp and flavorful with the perfect amount of sauce & cheese (think NYC style here). They have a fantastic lunch special! The wings looked amazing and we will try them on our next visit!
