Great pizza and chill atmosphere. Service is always kind of slow but it’s because there’s usually a ton of people ordering take out. If you’re looking for a relaxed pizza joint this is it. We got the supreme, but I highly recommend the WMD if you like spicy stuff.

As a pizza enthusiast , I had to have a slice. Dough and crust were great. The cheeses are mouthwatering. The sauce was bland to me. Everyone at my table ate different meals and I regret not having the steak & cheese.

The shop is small inside, but they make the best of the space. We had a short wait for a large family on a Monday night so we knew it had to be good.. glad we waited! We had the WMD and the 3 Little Pigs and garlic knots. It was all super good, our server was nice and quick to check in with us.

9 years we have been on a quest to find the best Pizza place that Topsail has to offer and it was just off the Island! Baked was absolutely fantastic and super fresh.
We ended up going back a second time in the same day. Ricotta pizza, split Napoleon and Margarita, split Philly and chicken parm. Italian hero, caprese Salad. All were great with quality ingredients. The desserts pictured are their tiramisu pie and lemoncello marscapone pie. Both were absolutely beautiful!
I’m giving the wings it’s own paragraph here. Pictured are the ‘knotty gringo’ sauced. I haven’t had wings this good since I lived in Buffalo. I’m by no means an expert, I just love good food! The sauce was a flavor flashback to my childhood, perfect amount of sweet and heat. Finally a place that tosses and sauces right!
If you live near Baked, I’m jealous. We have to wait until October to have them again.
UPDATE: It’s a year later and here we are again! Baked has upheld my previous review. This update is dedicated to their tenders. Get. Them. Sauced! For 20 years I have been trying to explain to my husband what a tossed/sauced tender is. Fresh out of the fryer tossed with your sauce it keeps cooking, the sauce soaks in. It’s a thing of beauty. Baked has done it. They have brought you Buffalo NY at its finest. Thank you for adding to a beautiful vacation!

First time we went and got the WMD pizza, it was decent (little dry but had sauce on it to even it out). It took some time to get our food from when we ordered when there was only us and a small family. This second time we did takeout and the pizza was really dry and hard to eat. The egg parm my wife got she described as bland as well. I’d understand if the pizza wasn’t $25 but I’ll just go to the dominos across the street for better pizza for way less.

We have lived here 3 years and this place has been a constant disappointment. We keep giving them the benefit of the doubt when we unfortunately forget how bad they are because they are one of the few places that deliver. Just stick with Papa John’s or Domino’s, at least they are consistent. The calzone is not a calzone. It’s a soggy disaster. Cheese pizza (which like how basic is this) was mushed and sad. Fried mozz sticks & ravioli were okay – but burnt.
