Oh. My. Goodness. I had a croissant with bacon, egg, Havarti cheese, and garlic aioli. It was definitely among the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever had! So hot and yummy! And the cream cheese Danish was also very good. Brownwood is fortunate to have this place.

The baked goods, atmosphere, and workers are all amazing. Definitely a little more on the pricy side but they hand make everything and really take their time to create these goods. My favorite is probably the ham and Swiss croissant and tarts. Love this place!

Baked Artisan Goods never disappoints!! I can honestly say they make the best baked goods I’ve ever had. The chocolate croissants are perfect for morning coffee. And the cruffins My daughter is also a big fan of their cinnamon twists.

This is so great! I will be back to this place for the bread alone! Not to mention all the other great bakery items. I also had the sugar cookies best cookies I have had. Just head down the back alley off E. Lee St. and follow your nose.

We have been eating to try all the things from Baked Artisan but just never seem to make it by when they are open. Well, Friday we made it buy and we bought ALL the things. My kids said the pretzels were the best they have ever eaten, better than Annie’s. All the pastries and the sourdough bread were amazing. My favorite thing thou was the coconut macaroon. Amazing! I almost made myself sick and definitely gained 10lb. I could not make up my mind and the staff kindly helped me by telling us their favorites. We will 100% be back. Oh! The lavender lemonade is also a must try!

We stumbled upon this shop when looking for coffee as we drove through town on a road trip. It is closed during the weekdays, but we didn’t realize it because we thought we saw a customer inside. She was actually the owner, preparing bread for the weekend crowd. The place was very pleasant to visit, the owner did open the coffee grinder for us, and we left wishing we passed through on a Saturday.

I couldn’t find the shop so I called and she gave me instructions on how to get there over the phone. Hands down the best hidden gem Brownwood has to offer! Everything is delicious. I think everyone needs to experience the taste at least once. You won’t regret it. It’s worth the hour and a half drive for me, and I’ll do it again!
