OH MY GOSH – the smoked tuna taco (labeled “smoked marlin” for some reason) was the best fish taco I’ve had in my life! Staff was great, facility was clean, food came out very quickly. Unfortunately, they weren’t open on Sunday and on the holiday Monday, or we would have come back another time. Wonderful, wonderful, I wish I lived in this area…

I was told this place has the best shrimp tacos in all of the Vegas Valley.
I tried it and it was good & tasty but I’m not sure about it being the best. The server said the Luca taco was a favorite there. I tried it and it was good, different but I probably had 2 – 3 shrimps in it.
I love Downtown Henderson area and all the small businesses down there. I’ll for sure be going back to try other things on the menu. I’ve posted the menu so you can see what they have & how much everything cost.

We were happy to know that there was a Mariscos restaurant in Henderson since most of them are in North town. The place was clean felt like you were at the beach. The food was really good. I personally liked their fried octopus taco. The staff was very attentive and knowledgeable. We will definitely be coming back!

Things are ala carte so I have to admit I was a little sceptical being use to chips, salsa, beans and rice standard with Mexican food but this place is different. The food is very fresh tasting and different than the typical food. Instead of trying to explaining look at the pics and come try it! I sure will be coming back! Oh, and the prices are great for what you get!

I’ve been a regular at the Las Vegas Boulevard location, so I was thrilled to see they opened a spot in Henderson — and it did not disappoint! The food is simply amazing. We ordered the beans and chips, Poke Nachos, Octopus Tacos, and the Rosarito Tostada — every dish was packed with flavor and beautifully presented. Total 10/10!
The micheladas were super refreshing and perfectly made. On top of the great food and drinks, the service was outstanding — the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive from start to finish. If you’re looking for bold flavors and near Water Street in Henderson, definitely give this place a try!

HIDDEM GEM ALERT! I have now tried both Bajamar locations in the Vegas market, and the Water Street location is by far superior. The food was excellent. Happy hour deals were good. Fish tacos are delicious, the Marlin taco (smoked tuna) was so good, almost tasted like bacon! The habanero salsa was the highlight of the meal. Perfect on everything. Shrimp cocktail was good by itself, but the salsa took it over the edge. Surf and turn fries were excellent. Bacon wrapped shrimp was to die for. This location is right off Water Street in what seems to be an abandoned mini strip mall/shopping center. If you’re not looking for it, you may not see it. If you are a mariscos fan, THIS IS A MUST TRY. So damn good.

Great casual Mexican restaurant with an interesting menu. Octopus and raw shrimp dishes were fantastic. Lots of more traditional options for the less adventurous. The atmosphere was modern, fun, and casual. Service was fast and friendly. Highly recommended.

Great to see the new Baja Mar open in Henderson! They have the same tasty menu and great service, with an inviting Happy Hour. If you like it spicy be sure to ask for their Habanero Sauce, made in house. There’s also the original downtown location, both are just as good. Not to be missed.
