I discovered this place today and loved everything about it. It’s sits on the Marina and has amazing views of Canyon Lake and the Texas Hills. I ordered their Grilled Chicken Wrap and it was yummy. They have a huge outside patio, perfect for relaxing and sitting back and enjoying the views.

I was staying at Canyon lake for and extended weekend and decided to venture out for dinner on a Friday afternoon. I saw the huge sign towards Baja Grill and found out that it overlooked the marina. What’s not great about having dinner and a cocktail overlooking a beautiful lake?
I ordered the bbq plate with the three meat option, I chose turkey, sausage, ribs, with potato salad and mac & cheese. My favorite was the turkey, it was seasoned to perfection with just enough smoke flavor. The ribs and sausage were good, the mac & cheese was delicious. Everything was good and the service was great.
The food could have been bad and I would have still wanted to go back because of the ambiance. Which I did. My sister and her girlfriend decided to visit me on Saturday afternoon and we hung out in the lake. Later they decided they wanted to go eat so I took them back to Baja Grill on Saturday evening. They had live music which we all love, and both of them also loved the place. My sister, an avid traveler, said it reminded her of her favorite restaurants in Florida. They shared the large nachos and loved them. I wasn’t that hungry so I just had a salad.
I will definitely be back next time I go to Canyon Lake.

The BBQ plate was sooo good! The smoked turkey is some of the best we’ve had! Brisket was tender and sausage was very good as well. Fries were well seasoned and not too greasy. They don’t skimp on the alcohol either! We shared a plate and still couldn’t eat it all. Plus, sit outside and enjoy the view!

The food was okay, however, the views of the marina and surrounding lake were amazing from the elevated deck and covered bar area.
The staff was friendly enough. The drinks were only slightly overpriced, considering the location.
I would go back, but I would stick with chips and salsa, or any other appetizer, rather than eat from the main menu.

Ventured out here for dinner on a Friday evening, there was a short wait, but I was able to go over to the bar and get a drink and find a seat by the railing that had a great view! The brisket nachos were very good, and the coconut rum cake was amazing! I wasn’t in a hurry and hung out for quite a while and caught the amazing sunset that evening. This place isn’t very far from me, so I’ll definitely be back!

Fun, laid back atmosphere, live music and kids enjoyed playing on the park next to it. With laid back atmosphere, however, we waited nearly an hour for our food with hungry kids. Food was good, not amazing. For a leisurely night on the lake, couldn’t go wrong. Dinner with a hungry family, maybe go somewhere else.

Good fish tacos and margaritas! Had dinner on the patio at sunset and it was a nice place to be! Fans and misters to help you cope with the Texas heat. Good views of the lake! Might sound odd but some of the best refried beans I have ever had!

Based on previous reviews food is not good, so we tried only Guacamole with chips. Taste was ok but it was a tiny amount of Guacamole

The smoked turkey was the best. The mex macoroni was thick and cheesy deliciousness. Potatoe Salad was yummy too. the pork ribs were tender but you have to dip it into the bbq sauces for them to be extra good. There 2 bbq, one has a spicy kick that was my favorite the sausage was delious too. I wanted to try these brisket enchiladas but i wasnt feeling adventurous today. Its very pretty with christmas lights looks like a tiki beach bar with the best beach bar music april helped us and was funny sweet and direct everything was delivered as ordered! What a cool spot!
