I had the chicken burrito at Baja Fresh, and it was outstanding. The chicken was juicy, packed with great flavor, and paired with fresh veggies and a nice, zesty salsa. The tortilla was soft and wrapped it all up perfectly. The service was friendly, and the place was clean. A five star meal all the way.

I have such fond memories of my first visit to a Baja Fresh on a movie date in the San Fernando Valley many years ago. The chips were fresh, my taco was excellent, but ah…that was so long ago. Our most recent visit to Baja Fresh made me long for that night, unfortunately it was a far cry from that tasty meal. Instead, my Americano taco had very dry flavorless chicken. The small bag of chips were worse. The one bright spot was the good old salsa choices and the fact I married the man from that memorable first date.

I’ve been enjoying Baja Fresh for over 25 years. I was very glad when I found this one in Santa Clarita. They’re always friendly when ordering. I enjoy their food much better than their major competitor.

Food is good. Their fountain drinks, like most other restaurants in the area, have such a nasty after taste. Like how I could imagine toilet water tasting. Likely due to improper cleaning or dirty tap source. Don’t drink the fountain soda.

On 9/29/24 I placed an order inside the restaurant and waited around 12-15 minutes for my food. One of the workers stocking up the refrigerator was also bagging up the orders. He called me number and I he said everything was in the bag. I guess I should have checked everything then, it would have saved me some time and gas. Anyways, I drove home 20 minutes away to realize they gave me half my order wrong. Super upset since it was a busy time of the day and no one likes to waste their gas. So, I called and the same cashier answered the phone and I explained they gave me the wrong order and she said I can go back for the new order but to bring back the “wrong order” so they can keep it. I get there and the cashier already has my correct order with her on the counter. I asked if this was freshly made since it was 30 minutes since it was placed, I’m still not sure when it was made, but I guess I had to believe her. Then, she asked me if I wanted to keep the wrong order? After making me bring it back and it’s been cold for 30 minutes she has the nerve to offer me to keep it? No way. Additionally, the shrimp in the salad was burnt and dry. The chips were hard and stale. Never going here again! This place obviously doesn’t care about their food quality or customer service! Spent $40 for bad service and stale food.
