I always order the Taco & Enchilada Combo when I visit any of their locations – cheese enchilada, all rice and no beans, and a fish taco Ensenada style is where it’s at! You can’t go wrong with a cheese quesadilla for the kiddos. My daughter and I also tried their cheese nachos, but it was disappointing because all the cheese turned into a solid sticky mass. We washed down our meal with a fountain beverage. I found both the cashier and restaurant staff at this location to be super friendly and helpful. Prices have gone up since my last visit as our meal totaled almost $50 with tax and tip, but at least I ordered enough for us to have leftovers!
I previously came to visit and found that this location was under construction. I have returned to try the food.
I ordered a steak burrito combo and a drink. The combo comes with only rice and beans (black or pinto). The combo does not come with chips or a drink which is typical combos for similar Mexican diners. The combo with drink cost $24.
The food was presented very well. The burrito was tasty and filling. The included avocado was a good addition. The only complaint is the rice that tasted in the verge of steam rice. It slightly threw off my palate. The pinto beans were great. Tasted like traditional dish possibly with a hint of lard in the ingredient.
Customer service was friendly. I observed staff constantly keeping the dining area clean and ready for the next guest. The staff here seems to value and have pride in their work.
Large indoor and outdoor dining area. Several TVs indoors to view sports.
Overall I had a nice experience. The only draw back is the high price paid for a burrito and drink.
The fish looked like grilled chicken with the same texture of chicken. The “fish” was covered in cabbage and that’s it. They literally covered the whole taco with cabbage and a tiny piece of “fish”.
‘. It was
dry and tasted awful. The burrito had this horrible clumpy white rice in it which completely ruined it. They didn’t put the pinto beans I requested in it. There was barely any meat. The few pieces of meat I was able to taste was good. It was a nice size burrito but not worth $19. Charging that much and giving me what was basically a veggie burrito is robbery. The shrimp taco was bomb. I really enjoyed it. I wouldn’t go back due to the fact that I paid so much for so little. I guess I had to go in to get better food. Chipotle gives more meat than this place and that’s not saying much. You’ve been warned.
