They also have amazing deals on shrimp tacos. Got the combo that has 3 tacos 1 soda can for like 12$. The shrimp were a great size, and you get about three large ones in a corn tortilla taco. So delicious!
The potato taco was also a highlight; it was super crispy and very well seasoned. I asked mine without pico de gallo, which they got messed up but it’s chill. Just a lil to busy imo when it got pico
The guacamole could use a little improvement – it was missing lemon and salt. I’d recommend asking for a lemon on the side to season it yourself.
I did request for pickled onions, lemons, and radishes, and was given with ease. The horchata was just okay and was made from a machine/not fresh.
Overall, I had a great experience with the food and the pricing, especially the taco deals!
My family and I always go to the location on Hillhurst on the weekends. I was surprised to find a closer location to home and stopped by as my husband and I were both off early. Unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment!!!!
Food quality:
The shrimp on my Ceviche was Under cook it’s completely gray, no pink color, and the shrimp crunchy tacos were burnt but did still have decent flavor !
Atmosphere & service:
No hot sauces on the tables, such as the other location, and also no Salasa bar.
Food doesn’t get walked to the table. They tell each person 15min wait for each order.
Employee completely ruined the roll on it and handed it over, not even sealed in foil before running off in to the back to sing along to whatever was playing on their Bluetooth speaker. Had to call the manager over to re-roll the burrito.
Then promptly got Got food poisoning the next day. Needless to say I’m Never coming back. You can get better food that doesn’t get you sick out of the tent across the street, which is a comedically low standard to fail.
