Baja Cafe on Broadway opened in March 2014 and is our original restaurant. So much has changed since those early days, thankfully!, due to the ongoing support of our amazing community and team. We are a locally owned and operated full service restaurant. We offer traditional style breakfast, brunch and lunch as well as many different dishes with a Southwestern flair. We are a scratch kitchen. We also drive to Hatch, NM to purchase our chiles from a local farm there. Our staff are there to welcome our guests and offer ideas and suggestions with the menu if you like. We do offer vegetarian options as well as gluten friendly options. We want everyone to feel welcome and have a moment to share with friends and family over a really great meal.

One of the best breakfast places I have eaten at, ever!! We shared the Brisket Caramelo Benedict, Berries and Danish Cream Leige Waffles, and Snickerdoodle Pancake. I would recommend any one of these. The portions are more than generous and the customer service was amazing!

Very busy and packed place before 11am. Kind of settles more down after 11am-12pm. I was worried we would have to wait long but we were actually able to get seated in less than 10 minutes with a party of 5. The service was excellent and the food was great. The portions are large and worth the price. Glad I finally got to try it out for my birthday with my family. It is obviously going to be kind of noisy because a lot of people eat there, but it wasn’t too bad for me and they had good music.

Absolutely loved eating here. The food was excellent and service was good. We had the Wolverine and the Trainwreck. Both dishes were extremely tasty and the hashbrowns (part of Wolverine plate) were the best I have ever had. If in the area again, this restaurant will be on our “Must Visit” list.

EVERYONE PLEASE GO HERE FOR BRUNCH! we pulled up at around 9:30 on a Saturday and it was already about a 20-25 minute wait. We sat right at the bar which was kind of hectic because the open kitchen is right there but we’re not picky about that kind of stuff. The birthday cake pancakes were calling my name so of course I ordered some. I also ordered a small side of fruit because the pictures of these pancakes on Yelp make these cakes look super tiny. However, I was pleasantly surprised when these pancakes came out the size of the plate! They were so huge and only $8.50?! Hello?! You’d pay at least $12 for 2 pancakes anywhere else (and you get 3 pancakes here). When I tell you these pancakes blew me away, I mean it! I don’t know how they were flavored with this vanilla bean flavor, but they were literally birthday cakes in the form of a pancake. The vanilla frosting made these! Didn’t even need syrup because these were so moist and sweet already. Easily the best pancakes I’ve ever had.

This was my first visit and will definitely not be my last. This place is always busy so do not let the line/crowd scare you. Most definitely worth the wait!!!!! The wait staff were all very congenial. The food here is spectacular!!!!!! I do not do sweets or make it my choice for a meal……but the snickerdoodle pancake is OUTTA THIS WORLD!¡¡! I have attached photos of the pancake…..definitely try this no matter what else you order. The food was prompt and hot and very flavorful!!!!! I cannot say enough about this true gem in Tucson!!!!¡

I have never had a bad meal at Baja Cafe. There from scratch kitchen has always delighted me with plates that have had well-balanced, beautifully presented, delicious meals. If you get there early enough you usually can get a seat immediately, but if there is a wait it is worth it to stick around.
