Social Profile:

Baja Cafe on Broadway opened in March 2014 and is our original restaurant. So much has changed since those early days, thankfully!, due to the ongoing support of our amazing community and team. We are a locally owned and operated full service restaurant. We offer traditional style breakfast, brunch and lunch as well as many different dishes with a Southwestern flair. We are a scratch kitchen. We also drive to Hatch, NM to purchase our chiles from a local farm there. Our staff are there to welcome our guests and offer ideas and suggestions with the menu if you like. We do offer vegetarian options as well as gluten friendly options. We want everyone to feel welcome and have a moment to share with friends and family over a really great meal.

Upbeat, low-key place providing hearty Southwestern breakfast & lunch dishes, plus patio seating.

Absolutely the best breakfast we had in Tucson—no question. We ordered their famous Snickerdoodle Pancake, and it was the best pancake we’ve ever had—warm, airy, cinnamon-sweet, and so good it didn’t even need butter or syrup. Absolute perfection. The Cinnamon Roll Pancake was also amazing with its vanilla bean glaze.

We tried the Southwestern Smoked Brisket Benedict, which was incredible. The brisket was tender and flavorful, the eggs were perfectly poached, and the Southwest-style sauce tied everything together beautifully. It’s a must-order dish for anyone who loves bold, hearty breakfast flavors. The Train Wreck was a delicious mix of flavors and brought the heat!

Everything at Baja Café is scratch-made, creative, and generously portioned. Service is wonderful—the staff is noticeably HAPPY, friendly and fast, the atmosphere is casual and welcoming, and every dish coming out of the kitchen looked amazing.

If you’re searching for Tucson’s top breakfast spots, Baja Café should be at the top of your list. Highly recommended!

On advice of a worker at the Tucson KOA, we tried Baja. What a find. Food was delicious, Sarah was a fabulous server, quaint little place. We will definitely be back. Husband’s King Kong was good and alot of food. My classic Benedict was delicious. Sarah brought us a free Snickerdoodle pancake since it was our first time there. Lots of variety and interesting dishes.

Place looks like a hole in the wall, but that’s part of the allure! Been there a few times and each time I could never finish my plate. And I’m from Texas who eats Texas sized portions lol. Sometimes it feels like Im eating art. Highly recommended

Best breakfast in town. Perfect post hike! Alcatraz was delicious and the Snickerdoodle pancake is a must! Huge portions. Definitely split a pancake. Wyatt dish and the Huevos Ranchero were both hits at our table. There will always be a wait. Decor is nonexistent but truly you go here for the incredible food. Service is always friendly too!

This place is the kinda place you grab your kids and enjoy a hearty breakfast! Quiet enough to hold a conversation, food was served timely, tasted amazing and wonderful staff to complement the experience. The hash browns were perfectly browned and crispy, Eggs Benedict bursting with flavor, and “desert” pancake was extraordinary!Stop trying to decide where to go, and set your sights here!
