This place deserves every single star. From the customer service to the food quality, everything was outstanding. We needed a meal on short notice during a hectic family week, and Alan went above and beyond with professionalism, warmth, and a true willingness to help. He made a stressful situation so much easier.

Great burrito place in Twelve Oaks. You can customize your own burrito. The ingredients are fresh. It can get chaotic during lunch time. But they have plenty of seating. They also have a fresh salsa bar. Highly recommend for an authentic, local burrito place in Nashville!

I only went for chips and guacamole the guacamole is well blended seasoned and savory. I will be back they have a salsa bar and the prices are very reasonable the line was out the door. I always try the chips before I order the food well done on the guacamole

I thoroughly enjoyed my steak burrito. The steak itself didn’t stand out that much but did contribute. The tacqueria salsa and Mexican rice was great. I got the chipotle tortilla – I’m not sure if I actually noticed any difference versus a regular tortilla, but I’d get it again since I enjoyed the burrito as a whole. Chips and salsa were good too – salsa bar is nice.
The line was out the door and around the corner of the building – despite liking the food I doubt I’d come back for dinner again for this reason. Hopefully lunch is better.

Baja Burrito has been my go-to Nashville burrito spot for over 20 years now. Even in my brief stint in San Francisco in 2009, I’d have my (now husband) literally bring this to me on the plane from Nashville – it’s that good.
I can’t even put into words how incredible the food is, plus the ownership and leadership/staff are superb humans that care deeply about the community.
What I love is that the food is always consistently good – always. There are never off days, and in a world full of change, I really appreciate that this has stayed the same level of awesome for decades.
Both of my babies ate a ton of Baja Burrito in utero and now also in real life haha.
Thank you, Baja Burrito, for being the biggest part of my now 22 years in Nashville. I miss seeing Troy, but I know his son is carrying the torch and I love supporting local! ❤️❤️❤️

1. It’s reliable. I don’t have to wonder if it’s open, if the menu has changed, or if it’s going to give me emotional whiplash. I walk in, and it’s there for me. Multiple times a week. We have a routine, and it’s beautiful.
2. The line out the door is basically social proof. I don’t have to swipe right or read a bio. That queue is the universal sign for, “Yes, other people also think this is a good idea.” It’s the one line I’m happy to stand in, because what’s on the other side is…
3. Consistently excellent. No games, no guessing. The food is just delicious. The al pastor understands me. The pineapple salsa respects me. Every bite is exactly what I signed up for.
4. It’s efficient without making me feel rushed. The crew moves with the speed and precision of a pit crew, yet they still manage a nod. In my new life, this is peak interpersonal interaction.
5. It offers life options. Do I want to sit inside and feel the buzz, or take my foil-wrapped treasure outside for some solo reflection? Baja provides the venue for whatever vibe I’m chasing.

Was recommended this by a work friend. When I walked in, I wasn’t too sure. Bit of a dive. The food did not disappoint! All the ingredients were super fresh, queso was the best I have ever had! Super quick service and the prices are more affordable than fast food restaurants! Will definitely be back when I’m in the area! You have GOT to try this place.
