Baitong Thai and Sushi in St. Augustine was fantastic. We had spring rolls, chicken satay, Massaman curry with fried tofu, and drunken noodles with fried tofu. Everything was really tasty. The curry was especially delicious, rich and comforting. If I am ever back in St. Augustine, I would definitely come here again.

Parking is easy as there are spots all along the strip mall. Service was average and helpful. Got checked on once and had to wait on a water refill.
Seems to be a local crowd as we waited 20 min for a table. Could have easily made a table for us with one 4 person table only occupied by 2 carryout bags, while another 6 person table with 2 ladies chatting the whole time with their to-go bags ready.

Restaurant was very clean and comfortable and decorating very nicely. The food was extremely delicious and fresh. We started with salads that were light and beautiful and had a delicate dressing not sure what it was but it was very good. Then for our entree we had sashimi and green curry tofu. Green curry tofu was in a coconut cream sauce that was so nice I actually contemplated ordering another. The wait staff was very polite and courteous and took a time to help us navigate the menu which was extensive. I would highly recommend this for anyone that likes fresh sushi or sashimi. The place is kind of small and at the end of a strip mall but it had plenty of parking and easy access, and as I mentioned very delicious foods with many options. I can’t recommend this place enough. Oh and almost forgot, the music they were playing was so relaxing and beautiful that it made us just want to relax and enjoy our meals.

One of the only open restaurants on Thanksgiving. But that was not the best part… the food was amazing. Best lobster roll ever! The service was very fast and good, and the prices were more than fair. For sure we will repeat everytime we are back here.

I wasn’t expecting to find such solid Thai food at a beach strip mall, but Baitong Thai & Sushi turned out to be a total gem. The place is tucked into a quiet plaza off A1A, and from the outside, it doesn’t scream “hidden culinary treasure” but trust me, the food tells a different story.
We started with the Spicy Tuna Nachos, which were way better than I expected crispy wonton chips, creamy avocado, and just the right kick from the tuna. It was one of those apps where you keep telling yourself, “Okay, just one more…”
For mains, I went with the Crispy Duck Pad Thai a little indulgent, a little spicy, and completely delicious. My friend had the Green Curry, which was rich and aromatic without being too heavy. Both dishes came out hot, perfectly portioned, and beautifully balanced in flavor.
And yes, they also do sushi and do it well. We shared the Lobster Roll, which was tempura-fried and packed with flavor. It wasn’t just filler rice either—you could actually taste the lobster.
The vibe inside is laid-back but clean and cozy. Service was friendly and fast, the kind where the staff seems genuinely happy you’re there.
Overall, Baitong really hit the spot. Great food, good portions, fair prices—and it’s the kind of place I’d absolutely come back to after a day at the beach.
