Went to the Eastern market on 8/9/24 just for Bairs chicken. Wife ordered chicken tenders. Talk about DRY!, she could’nt even eat one because of how dry they were. I ordered fried mushrooms which is what I went for. Nope, were lukewarm at best. Very very disappointed. Guess thats what you get when you have kids back their cooking who are more interested in their phones than serving quality food. Doubt we go back.

Since I got my job in downtown York I go to the central market every tuesday and thursday. The chicken and the potato wedges are phenomenal. Both are always crispy and served fresh. The workers and owner are very nice as well. They are always are considerate when talking to their costumers. It’s always a positive experience when I order.

DELICIOUS FOOD. Stopped in for lunch on a Tuesday around 12 pm. I ordered #7 which was 3 white chicken tenders (you can get regular or spicy – I chose regular) dutch potatoes and a small soda as well as a single chicken thigh. Food was absolutely delicious! Chicken was juicy, hot, and filled with flavor. I definitely look forward to a return trip. They are open in Central Market from 7am until 3pm Tuesday through Friday and Saturday 7am – 2pm. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Chicken was fresh & hot. Could use a tab bit more seasoning for my taste but the service was excellent. When I first walked up, there were about 4 people waiting & 6 in front of me. I was out of there in 10 minutes!

The service is definitely better than the chicken, probably because they cook a lot of chicken in advance, and by the time it gets served it’s kinda dry & tough. OK if you’re really hungry, but there’s other vendors here that cook their food to order.
