We visit the area yearly and try to come here at least once for the food, cocktails, music and atmosphere. At the end of a strip mall and on a canal, parking is easy.
We always have a meat dish and love the sausages, especially the blood sausage. I had an extraordinary pear with gorganzola salad. Amazing. Even the bread and coffee are delicious.
Highly recommend

The lighting and ambiance is romantic although the paper placemats are pretty chintzy, they had soccer players on them. Definitely not a white tablecloth experience, which is what we were expecting.

My favorite thing was the Malbec whiskey sour cocktail. The spaghetti bolognese reminded me of my elementary school. The skirt steak was cooked perfectly although the flavor was pretty bland. The chimichurri had a nice garlic oil taste, but that was it. We tried both a fried and a grilled beef empanada, I preferred the grilled one although there were way too many onions and too greasy for my taste.

The service was good, nothing wrong, but nothing exceptional. We were offered a table with a limited timeline to suit others who had made reservations, which we had not done.

We probably won’t go back, and overall, I enjoyed the experience for what it was. The entire meal was $106, gratuity included so $133 total.

First, let me have your full attention for the “Patatas Bravas” in the house, because I am now emotionally attached to them. Every spice lover needs these in their lives! A little crispy on the outside, soft & warm on the inside with a finish of heat w a delicious saucy accent! (I would date them! ). Seriously, I had a “Caruso” moment (or, Creosote…) and honestly could have kept shoving those little, angelic potatoes in my mouth until they carried me out on a stretcher. Zero regrets.

My group sampled several appetizers, The Beef Carpaccio (beautifully plated); the Octopus — a seafood lover’s dream; the Empeñadas (some of the best in town); and the cheese plate (wasn’t going to win a beauty contest, delish nonetheless) a “Cinderella” moment…

My Spicy Mamacita Cocktail was no “ugly stepsister,” presented with a salty, mouth watering rim, it was refreshing perfection… not too spicy, not too sweet, simply spot-on.

We rounded our meal out with the fried chicken dish — a little dry (like it had gone thru a breakup) but with the added chimmichurri sauce delivered on the side, it was still delicious.

And when we thought we absolutely couldn’t eat another bite, the Birthday Girl’s Chocolate Lava Cake w Vanilla Ice Cream arrived. The most beautifully presented chocolaty, gooey-est, glorious finale ever.

From the moment you walk in, you can tell there is great “pride of ownership” in this establishment. From the cozy yet classy bar dining area to the stellar service and premium menu offerings — all well-priced… (The Happy Hour Menu is clearly one of the best dining offerings in SoFlo.). And I congratulate them for offering bread & bread sticks to start (an important detail overlooked by many other establishments) and for their incomparable housekeeping “spotless!”

I will DEFINITELY return! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Out of recommendations I came here to check out their happy hour menu. When we came in we were told that happy hour was only outside. In this Florida heat it was a struggle. Our server was very nice and attentive.
For the drinks we tried the passion fruit margaritas which were really good.
For food we order a few things to try .
We had the beef, corn and cheese and chicken empanadas. Honestly we weren’t a fan as they were a bit dry and not that flavorful.
The sweetbread and sausage were pretty tasty and I would recommend.
The octopus with potatoes was also pretty good but it lacked flavor.
Salmon tartare was also ok.

Overall i wasn’t impressed. Maybe we should have tried the steak.

Had a great experience! I specifically was looking for Argentine inspired cooking. I tried a beef grilled empanada to start off. A skirt steak was recommended and paired well with my salad and mashed potatoes. The steak was cooked perfectly and was very tender and flavorful. The service was on point, friendly, and did a great job. Had a really nice dining experience.

We loved the food. Meat was so tender and juicy, cooked to perfection. The ambience is really nice, a little bit noisy for my taste but we had a great time.

We ordered a Parrillada for two and it was delicious, it came with 2 sides and a variety of meats. The service was fast and our server was very attentive.

The area has free parking. We will come back again!
