Slow-smoked BBQ & other American grub like pizza & burgers plus tons of beer in a casual setting.

Homely environment and friendly waitstaff. Succulent food of American fare. Clean bathrooms and big mounted plasmas displaying sport games. Food struck outside for those dining al fresco on the deck. In November 2025, Larry Sharpe made a campaign stop at this location.

This place used to be the bee’s knees, but now sadly, not so much. I went there at midday on a Sunday. Seating and parking was not a problem at all. I live 2 hours away and this used to be the go-to BBQ restaurant for miles around. The bar area which sits in the middle of the upper area was packed with local blue collar people watching what I think was a soccer ⚽️ game. My party sat up front but not far enough away from the raucousness. There was no shortage of Archie Bunker looking men 50+ years old drinking, shouting, and cursing profusely. I’m no prude and have been known to utter a French word or two but this was loud and excessive in my opinion. No respect for the women and the elders present. We ordered the sought-after burnt ends, a full slab of baby back ribs, and the fried catfish. The sides were the corn souffle, which was EXCELLENT, collard greens, string beans, and mashed sweet potatoes. In retrospect all of the sides were delicious . The catfish was generous and fried crispy to perfection. The meat is where the disappointment happened. The burnt ends were dry and perhaps overcooked or lacking fat and juice. They were tolerable because they were slathered with a sweet BBQ sauce. The ribs were plentiful but a big let down. Tough is the first word that comes to mind. Notice the picture. No meat pulling back on the bone at all! Undercooked is my suspicion. The pork refused to let go of the bone. The smoke ring was minimal at best. The membrane was on the back side of the ribs that did not help the situation. This is exactly what happens when you smoke to time and not internal temperature. Amateurish. Not good if you are paying nearly $90 for the aforementioned with no alcohol or soft drinks. On the bright side, the portions were large and there was a lot to take home. I might even cook the ribs some more. The service was not bad but nothing exceptional either. I may go back if I am in the area but I’m seeking out a replacement BBQ spot as I type. Try it if you dare. Your mileage may vary…

Food is really good. I had the burnt ends app and catfish at the restaurant and I took home ribs brisket pulled short rib home. Had the collard greens and string beans as a side. Nothing disappointed. Everything was good. Waiter was good and very helpful in recommending items. Drinks were good. Wish this place was closer to my house.

Absolutely loved this place! The rustic wooden decor gives it a warm and cozy vibe. We had barbecue, brisket, mashed potatoes, buffalo wings and more — everything was full of flavor and cooked just right. The service was excellent, prices were very reasonable, and the whole atmosphere was super pleasant. Definitely a spot worth visiting!

I had a wonderful dining experience overall—the food was absolutely delicious, and the service was attentive and friendly.
However, I was disappointed by the state of the restrooms. They were noticeably dirty, which is unfortunate for a restaurant that otherwise maintains such high standards. Clean facilities are part of the overall experience, and I hope they address this soon.

Amazing barbecue spot and great atmosphere. My son and I shared a platter for two and it was enough food. We will be back soon because this place is definitely real barbecue the menu is filled with everything we like.

We have enjoyed Bailey’s for many years. They were among the first to open up outdoor dining during COVID and bring some joy to our community. We love both dining in and getting take out. The excellent food and service have remained consist throughout the years. Need I say corn soufflé?

Went to dinner with friends at Bailey’s and had a great time! We were sat in a separate area away from the loud crowd which was really nice. Our server and busser were really attentive, checking in with us to make sure we had everything we needed and our table was cleared of cups and plates once we were done with them.
Got their chicken gumbo to start, and then the combo with the ribs and fried chicken, corn soufflé, and mashed potatoes! The gumbo was delicious and I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it since. The fried chicken was juicy and crunchy and crispy and tender. The ribs were fall off the bone crazy good and the sides were just as delicious.
Would 100/10 recommend going to Bailey’s and I can’t wait to go back myself!

I’ve been craving authentic American BBQ for over 10 years. I still remember trying to eat here a decade ago, but the line was too long without a reservation. Finally, I got to try it — but honestly, it wasn’t my taste.
The sauces were overwhelming — either too sweet or too spicy. The wings were dry inside, and even the plain ones weren’t as good as Domino’s. The only thing I somewhat enjoyed was the chicken breast, which reminded me of Popeyes.
I don’t quite understand why this place is so popular. The service was great, but unfortunately, the food just didn’t do it for me.

Another Google review visit and it was not too bad. Being from Texas, the bar is pretty high for BBQ.
The server recommended the sample platter that came with three meets and 2 sides. Got brisket, sausage, and baby back ribs. Brisket was pretty good, and the ribs had a little.smoke.ring on them. The sausage, on the other hand, was loaded with fennel seeds. Ate 1 piece, and that was all I could stomach. The garlic mashed potatoes were really flavorful. The sweet corn I couldn’t get enough of, so keep that in mind when ordering.
Price was comparable to the portion sizes. However, when I got my check, I was charged a convenience fee of $.91. I should have asked why, but I was so put out about it that I did t ask what it was for.
Lots of tv’s for viewing, but most of them were tuned I tp the Yankees game. Bar was full of coaches who knew better how to play the game. Fun to watch and hear them talk.
I would recommend this restaurant. Checked the box and once and done.
