So Wednesday 1/28/26 I chose to get off the bus going home early to grab a couple of slices of pizza from Bailey Ave. Pizza. When I went in there was a black dude at the counter. I wanted to buy 2 cheese pep pizzas and I wanted to pay extra for extra onions. He got this smug attitude look on his face and said”We only selling Cheese and Pepperoni slices today ” The menu says you can get slices with additional toppings for a cost. And I wanted to pay the extra money for it . The man had no sense for customer service. I only bought the two slices because I had an onion at home that I could chop up and sautë in a pan myself! The pizza here, I very much enjoy, but his customer service skills needs work.

$42. Kinda shocking for that part of town. It was a good pizza. Lots of pepperoni. Cup n char ‘roni. Generous amount of cheese. Needed a little more sauce to match the amount of cheese. Cooked very well. Pizza is large and heavy. 16 large square slices. Thank you.

This is my first time enjoying Bailey Ave Pizza, and it was AMAZING! I’ve driven past it for years and have heard people say how good it is, but I never actually tasted it myself. I entered right before they were closing and I asked if they had any slices. She said that they had ONE slice left, I asked how much and she said $5, which I had in my pocket. When the pizza arrived, I was speaking to the woman at the counted named Doja, the owners niece. She was very friendly and we were chatting about our love for pizza when she mentioned that it’s Leonardi’s recipe.. it’s been a family recipe for over 40 years! I did actually hear this before, but to hear the back story from the owners niece made it special & definitely official. So, she said that this Bailey Ave location was in fact the first Leonardi’s back in the day, then they opened a second location on Millersport, they had 2 location for awhile. Well, long story short, the East Side location closed and then only the Millersport location remained. In 2019, Leonardi’s on Millersport closed it’s doors, signaling the end of a pizza era. Well, in 2024, Bailey Ave opened up on the East Side of Buffalo – with the same family recipe that Western New Yorkers have grown to love and adore. It’s been about 10 years since I have tasted a Leonardi’s pizza, and as soon as I tasted this work-of-art, I was right back there again.. this pizza is phenomenal!! Ok, so the crust is so in point it’ll make your head spin; crunchy on the outside but perfect and soft in the middle at the same time – genious. Then, the sauce cheese and pepperoni marry to make a tasty complete meal that for me was an 11/10. Shout out to Anne, she was super nice and is a pizza maker here and was telling me about her craft. If you have not tried this pizza yet, go now, you will be an extremely happy individual

Stopped in on our way from the airport and ordered just a regular pepperoni pizza, but it was beyond regular. The cheese was so perfect and plentiful, it was better than paying extra for “double cheese” at other places.
It was our first time and we’ll definitely be back. Next time we’ll try wings and sandwiches, which sounded great, along with the pizza.
Please note that it’s a take out place so gotta eat it in the car, find a park or take it home.

I ordered online Sunday for a 3:00pm pickup for a large pizza and 20 wings. I picked up my order a few minutes early and my order was done right on time when I got there. The girl that was there after I walked in came to the register after about I minute and just looked at me not saying a word like “Can I help you?” or “Did you place an order?” – Not even a “Hello”. VERY unprofessional service! Finally, after realizing I had to say something first, I told her that there was an order for me and again, without saying a word, she went and got my order. She did have a condescending smirk on her face the whole time that was definitely different from the friendly customer service smile that she should have had. This was my very first time trying this place and just based on the rude customer service that I got, that’s enough to discourage me from ever coming back! After I got home, I opened the boxes and I thought the pizza and wings were picture perfect and everything tasted very good. The bottom of the pizza could have used a bit more cook but it was good. I was really looking forward to trying this place and hoping it would be my new “go to” place but if customer service didn’t make me feel good, how could I possibly feel about my food?? It’s too bad.
Poor customer service and poor manners will cause a business to struggle no matter how good the food is.

I split a whole pizza with two co-workers. It was huge, definitely bigger than a regular large pizza. This was more like half a sheet. I ordered cheese and sausage. It was delicious. The workers were friendly. There’s no sit down dining, just a little waiting area. That was fine because I planned on bringing it back to work anyway. I would definitely order from them again.

Called and tried to place a small order.. woman answered with a raging attitude saying “they weren’t making no more food an there was only a couple slices left if I wanted it”. Pretty much take it or leave it.. mind you they weren’t even closed yet still had well over an hr left of business according to the website.. NEVER AGAIN !. If ya hate your job that much then maybe you shouldnt be working there in general.. The owner takes no pride i can see if he’s got ppl like that working there..

First , we waited over an hour on a non busy night for the worst pizza in Buffalo! ***Pizza no taste, mozzarella cheese was more chewey than gum, BBQ sauce on the wings was mixed with water. It was a watery mess, crust was hard and not fresh or flavorful, pizza sauce had no flavor, I spent 63.00 for this stuff. When I called to complain the woman cut me off and put me on hold and never returned.I would here again if it was the last pizza place in Buffalo.

I don’t even remember the lady’s names but on October 5th around 9 pm Now only were they professional but they literally know what they’re doing. My food was so amazing that I actually called them to thank the ladies. OMG!! I had a tuna sub and it was so amazing. Anytime I call and order food no matter what it is if the ladies answer the phone I know I’m going to be good.
