Lovely first experience! Didn’t know about this hidden gem in Burlington but am so glad I came her last Sunday.
I really loved the well thought furnishings and decor.
We ordered Papaya salad, Pad see ew and Green Curry Chicken with rice and they would was so close to how its prepared in Thailand.
Prices a bit steeper than your average Thai place in Mississauga or Brampton but the food really makes up for that.
The service was really good too.
Will definitely be back soon for more next month.

Absolutely beautiful gem!! I randomly decided to go there with my boyfriend and we were pleasantly surprised. The space itself is very cute, and all the staff (especially the older lady) was extremely lovely.

Went to Banh Thai last night and had such a lovely experience. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive — they offered personal recommendations, shared their thoughts on the dishes, and were really knowledgeable about the ingredients. It honestly felt like having someone’s mom cooking for you, in the best way.
We ordered the chicken satay, a spicy noodle dish with beef, and the chicken pad see ew, plus mango sticky rice and a banana fritter for dessert. Everything was delicious, but the chicken satay and the pad see ew were standouts. I would have happily ordered double portions if I had the room.
You can really tell they put care and attention into both the food and the service. The traditional decor and quiet atmosphere made it feel extra cozy too. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the area.

Light on the protein but the food was delicious! We ordered the green curry with chicken (great spice), pad thai with chicken (asked for medium spice and it was perfect), and mango salad (appreciated that the dressing was separate for this takeout order so it didn’t get soggy). I’d give 5 stars if there was more meat.

This place is decent and it won’t be what you expect when you go through the doors. It’s a nice little restaurant with great decor. The service as great but the food left a little to be desired. I ordered the cashew chicken and it was decent but the chicken was a bit dry and there was literally only 3 cashews on the plate. That being said the cost was way too much for what I got. Lunch cost me $30 with a small tip! Way too much for lunch! I don’t think I will be back.

BEST Shrimp Pad Thai l’ve had in Canada! l am a picky gourmet diner and have eaten Pad Thai at many establishments in the GTA and surrounding areas and no other restaurant makes this dish better than Bahn Thai. The sauce was excellent! Next time I will order it with extra crushed peanuts and extra bean sprouts bc I love my bean sprouts. If you want to share the dish, I suggest you ask for an extra shrimp so you can both have 3 shrimps each.
The only downfall was that my Jasmine Tea was scalding hot.
I’ve dined here 3 times and the staff are so polite and want you to be happy with the food and whole experience. I love the serving dishes also!

Food was a touch sugary and less spicy so mention this if you are used to spicy Thai. Pad Thai, Fried Rice and Fish ticked the boxes without being too ostentatious. Portion size is reasonable. Popular food but plenty of seating is available. A satisfying experience!

We’ve had takeout from here before but was our first time dining in and it was wonderful! We had basil chicken and spicy noodle shrimp which was delicious. The restaurant is nicely decorated and the staff are very friendly, I especially loved the older server who gave off warm grandma-esque vibes:) Will definitely come again soon.

Very tasty, subtle flavours and really fresh ingredients. We had the Thai iced tea, Tom yum soup, mango salad, panag curry and basil chicken with a side of rice (cost extra). Loved the service, our waitress was very attentive and kind. Good atmosphere, not too busy when we went. The decor was beautiful and overall it was a very tasty, enjoyable meal. Prices were a bit high, but worth it for a special meal.
