I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was disappointing.
The place was clearly staffed mostly by teenagers, and unfortunately the lack of customer service experience showed. It took 30 minutes to receive my order. I understand that businesses can get busy and that things can become overwhelming — that happens. But that’s exactly when professionalism and communication matter most.
There was little sense of urgency, no proactive updates, and no acknowledgment of the delay. When you’re asking customers to wait that long, basic communication and care go a long way.
I don’t mind waiting when a team is doing their best and keeping customers informed. What bothered me was the apparent indifference.
I hope management takes this seriously and invests in better training and supervision, especially during peak hours.

The temps hit 93° today, there’s no better place to to catch a quick brain freeze! We got a couple Dreamsicle shave ice. Watching the staff making these items was amazing. It’s not like the shave ice in Hawaii, these kids pour on the flavors. You’ll not be left wanting for more syrup! We’ll be back, and study the menu a little closer to know what we want when we walk or drive up!

Horrible service. I waited over 15 mins for my order. I understand it was busy but when other orders came out before mine I went to the counter. My order was at the drive thru window. My snow was melted and the kid insisted it barely got put out. WRONG. It was melting already. This place needs adults to supervise all those teenagers to do better. The tables were filthy and the restroom was filthy.

They make good drinks and they’re friendly, but my goodness this location takes an ETERNITY. We only had two cars in front of us in the drive-through and there were no customers inside.
There were at least three people working, and it took us like 20 minutes to get our two drinks.

I ordered 2 snow cones (only small sized mind you) which took me an outrageous 2 hours wait time in the drive threw, as I approached the window to see the 3 teenagers inside taking there time and laughing, absolutely ridiculous there is no reason for them to be taking so long, there needs to be some adult supervision at this location because everytime I come here it’s always something..

Please change your ice back. This is not good at all. This is the cheap ice you get from a kid’s homemade stand. It feels wrong and it doesn’t hold flavor.

Super efficient and delicious. My son LOVED THE PICKLE SNO! Highly recommend! (It’s me, her son… the worker was soooo nice too. And it did not hurt my braces that I got on earlier).

I arrived at the store 5 minutes after it said my mobile order would be ready. One of the workers who was trying to assist me didn’t know of my order and asked a supervisor. At this point they have not started my order. There was an employee at the window and 2 employees working on a single blended order. 1 person was in the back working on Sno orders and the supervisor was just standing there telling people what to do but not contributing in making the orders. I waited over 25 minutes to have my order brought to me. I believe this makes ordering ahead very pointless, especially when people are in a hurry to get somewhere. Also, received an incorrect order. Very disappointed in the way this store is ran.

This is the only location of Bahama Bucks that is HORRIBLE. Their locations in Texas are awesome and the other ones in Albuquerque are great. I have been to this one 5-10 times and never had a good experience. I finally decided to write a review today, when I waited over 40 minutes for the sour patch kids special that ended up looking nothing like the picture and tasting watered down. I wish the corporate team would take over this location, it is awfully run.
