Baguette De France. Where do I start. THIS IS THE BEST SANDWICH IN THE MIDWEST. I’m telling you right now…. STOP HERE. The bread is so yummy doughy yet crunchy. The garlic sauce just adds yummy flavor. Their meets are all fresh. I am from Chicago but legitimately drive here for this. I have never had a bad sandwich here. Kudos !!

This place has some great vegan sandwiches! I go for the vegan lunch meat but you can also get a sandwich with straight up veggies. The bread is really good. They have Great Lakes brand potato chips, which are also vegan (even their parm ranch chips) There’s tables inside and outside, service is fast.
My only complaint is that they have two single use bathrooms labeled “men” and “women.” The only difference between the two bathrooms is that the “women’s“ room has a baby changer. They should change the signs because all this does is inconvenience women, who are left to stand in the hallway, while a perfectly suitable bathroom sits empty because the sign says “Men”

So glad to have stopped here for lunch! Wasn’t hoping for much, just expected to fuel up and hit the road. But WOW!!!! The baguette here was SUPERB!!! The bread is crusty on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside, comes in either multi grain in or sour dough.
The filings, I ordered pastrami and combo (turkey, chicken, roast) baguettes. Both were fresh, tasty and delicious! But while the meats were sufficient yet it leaves me wanting a bit more.
Finally the sauce. I had garlic aioli in mind and it was the glue that tied everything together! They have curry sauce too. Didn’t try it but it sure sounds good!
The only down side to this place is that it’s TWO HOURS from me!

Baguette de France is still one of my favorite spots ever. I used to come here all the time during my college years, and the sandwiches were always top tier. Super chill vibe, great prices, and when I’m in town I still stop by every single time. Such a solid spot.

There’s a few places that deserve a 5 star. This is one. Both meat and vegetarian options ensure you can bring all your friends here. Baguettes were full of flavor and large enough to sate your hunger. Clean dining room and helpful workers are a nice plus. Definitely recommend adding this place to your Want To Visit list.

I used to go here all the time when I was a student at AU. I always get the turkey with no cheese, sourdough bread, and their garlic sauce. It’s sooo good. They also have great vegan and vegetarian options. Definitely recommend this place.

Amazing food. My wife and I love coming here for a Hawaiian sandwich on sourdough bread with provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato and garlic sauce. It’s absolutely divine.
