I’m typically not one to post reviews, but wow I cannot get enough of this place! First time in Arizona and this place had such a great atmosphere, with wonderful staff!
First, we walk in and the manager greeted us and a big smile. Then while waiting in line he gave everyone in the restaurant a free cookie. Next when my friend got a California BLT and after she started eating it realized it was missing the avocado (an honest mistake). She asked for a slice of avocado to put on the other half, but the manger insisted he would make a new one, and when he brought it to our table he apologized again and gave us an extra three cookies.
Even without the cookies, the willingness to go the extra mile with a simple mistake, as well as the warm and welcoming atmosphere I highly recommend this Baggin’!

These were two of the most anemic salads I’ve ever bought. Baggins used to have these huge bountiful salads full of awesome greens and generous portions of other ingredients. This is what they offer now. Less than 2oz of chicken per salad, and one of the weakest bacon strips I’ve ever seen. They also neglected to include the cheese, and there were hardly enough greens to fill the bread bowl.

Needless to say Baggins is making a killing on the margins of these salads. A pound of chicken breast can be had almost any day of the week at a grocery store for $1.99, we’ll add $1 to that value to account for the intensive labor it takes to boil a chicken breast and we’re looking at a whopping 19 cents per oz of cooked chicken. After tax we paid just under $40 for two salads. $40 salads and about 80 cents worth of chicken between the two of them.

It wasn’t even enough chicken to satisfy a toddler. We know this because our two year old asked for some of it. We gave him some, and then the rest of it. And when he was done eating it he asked for more. Not only did they short us, but they shorted our toddler too. Slow clap for Baggins everyone. Slow clap.

When I started writing this review I was dead set on giving them a charitable two stars, because the cookies are still excellent. But now I’ve realized that not even the best cookies in town can make me forgive them for shorting my son. Sorry Baggins, maybe one day we can be friends again.

The food here is great, my favorite is the tomato soup. I have never tried such earthy soup. They have the best manager there, always in a good mood, keeping everything under control, giving out cookies, making sure you get your order right. He always makes our visit more pleasant.

I know I’ve already left a rating however, I can not get over how deliciously the sandwiches are made, amazing quality. employees go above and Beyond and provide excellent customer service to their customers, check on their customers, making sure everyone enjoys a wonderful meal and have everything they need. All employees greet every customer upon entering building as well as thanking them for coming in at the register and while customers leave, smiles go a loooong way and it’s a wonderful experience every time. Beef Cheese Steaks, Cowboy, Chicken Parmesan and The Unforgettable are some of my favorites plus the cookie and Lemoncello cake is my favorite I wish I had the recipe!! Keep up the great work everyone!!!

We love this place, just went there again today, June 30th 2025, we are from Sierra Vista and drive the almost 2 hours just to eat there. The owner is super nice and the atmosphere is super happy. The employees are so nice too and you can tell the food is made on the spot, fresh for you. He give out chocolate chip cookies which is a nice touch but we would go even without them. Bathroom is always super clean too!!!

I just want to take a moment to recognize Sean at Baggins Gourmet Sandwiches. He went above and beyond during my visit and honestly set the standard for what great customer service should feel like. From the moment I walked in, he was welcoming, professional, and genuinely kind. He didn’t just take my order — he made sure I felt like a valued guest.

Sean had a great attitude the entire time, carried himself with patience, and showed true care in making sure everything was just right. You can tell he takes pride in his work and in treating people with respect. It’s rare to find someone who can make an ordinary lunch run feel like a genuinely positive experience, but Sean did exactly that.

He was attentive without being pushy, quick without cutting corners, and made me feel like my order actually mattered. In today’s world, it’s not every day you come across someone so dedicated to both kindness and quality.

I can honestly say that Sean made a lasting impression, and I’ll definitely be coming back because of the way he treated me. If anyone deserves recognition, it’s him. Baggins is lucky to have such a top-notch person on the team.

Atmosphere was great the food looked amazing. The only problem is no one greeted me when I came in and I stood at the counter for 7.2 minutes so at that point I turned around and walked out the door. I was disappointed that I wasn’t able to try it because it looked very tasty but there was several people behind the counter and not one person even said hello. I didn’t feel it was a very welcoming establishment when I went in

Paid $42 for two club sandwiches and one was “free” (buy 1 get 1). The turkey tasted like rubber, the sandwich looked nothing like the picture (FALSE advertisement), and the prices are ridiculous. I honestly feel like I was robbed. The sandwich was disgusting. I took three bites and threw it in the trash. I’ll never spend a dime here again.

There is one cash register attendant that won’t sell you food items if she thinks she is running low on items. This is a bit annoying because they aren’t actually out of items, but will says she is running low and then decides she’s only going to sell a certain number of items. For instance, once in the afternoon she wouldn’t sell extra little cookies when she thought she would run out- however this makes little sense as more would just be baked and if it’s 1pm and your runing out and a store closes at 8pm, it doesn’t matter if your selling it to me or someone else. And if you’re running out of items more often, that should be addressed on the kitchen side. This often annoys me because If you have food available you should sell it and not hold off on selling it for other future customers that may or may
want the same as you… I don’t come here often and I when I do it’s specifically for special food. This is also not good for business as she is limiting the amount of money customers are spending. I wish her manager would talk to her and tell her to stop this. She’s a really nice girl and always pleasant and professional but I do think this should be addressed.
