I returned to this spot for the 1st time in 15+ years this summer. Not sure if the owners are the same. I always ordered the beef bacon egg and cheese and it did not disappoint my 1st time back. I’ve revisited probably 5+ times since. The quality has been hit or miss. Bagels are still the best I’ve had (fresh, crispy outside & soft inside). I just wish the quality was more consistent. The customer service isn’t anything to praise, but I don’t have any complaints.

The service here has gone down significantly and to be quite frank. The premium price for a bagel is simply not worth waiting in line 25 minutes while the same two people take two hours to get me my bagel. There are plenty of other good new bagel shops that are cheaper and the speed at which they deliver their product as many times better. The new one in Montclair is very good.

I’ve tried many bagel shops in the area ( there are so many and they are good), but I like this place best. The bagels are a bit large side but not obscenely big. Their sandwich is good, lox sandwich has so much lox. In the weekend particularly they have do many customers and line can be long. If you like to have certain kind of bagels, ordering ahead may be a good idea. Line moves quickly so don’t be so alarmed. I wish they have an outpost in Portland.

Horrible horrible horrible. I called Saturday night for pickup a bagel platter and asked for them to be cut in 4s. When I got there the bagels on platter were sliced down the middle, when I politely asked the lady at the front with her bra showing if they could be cut in 4s she nastily said no because it was wrapped already and proceeded to call the man that took my order up to the front (is this a joke?) . The man and I went back and forth when he denied that I asked for them to be cut in 4s (again is this a joke? ) then they finally agreed to cut them in 4s but charged me an extra 2$ even tho they knew it was for the church. This place is garbage

So many bagel shops in the area but I decided to give this place a try. The service was friendly and quick. I ordered a sausage and cheese bagel on a cheddar bagel and an everything bagel with cream cheese. Everything was delicious and the prices are extremely reasonable. The bagel is a good mix of chew and crunch.The sandwich came with 2 slices of cheese and 2 sausage patties!! The cheddar bagel didnt really taste like cheddar but it didnt matter. Definitely go check this place out!

First time trying this place out with my GF, i ordered online i ordered 2 sandwhiches. Online ordering stated 20mins but i ended up waiting over 25 additional minutes. I told 3 people about my order and nobody was able to tell me why it was taking so long. Danielle and frank was able to expedite and push out my order. When i got home The food was AWESOME! I definitely Would come back for the food. But the customer wasnt very good.

I’ve been coming here for years, and it used to be one of my go-to spots for a bacon, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel, hard roll, or wrap. In New Jersey, the bar for breakfast sandwiches is high, and there’s a lot of great competition in the area.
Lately, the food has been more average than memorable — especially compared to places like Sam’s — and the bacon, egg, and cheese just doesn’t have the flavor or punch it once did. Service can feel a bit rushed or curt at times, which makes it harder to overlook when the food isn’t hitting the mark.
I really want to see this place back at its best because it has history and potential. With a little more focus on quality and customer experience, it could easily reclaim its spot as one of the area’s Bagel and sandwich shop.
