I ordered on DD. Firstly the bagels were good, big, fluffy inside, decent crust. Cream cheese nicely whipped. I was heading towards 5 stars….Untillll…the cardinal sin and my personal pet peeve about cream cheese was committed. I ordered vegetable cream and bagel places consistently fail on this mixture. Vegetable cream cheese should NEVER EVER contain scallions! Why? you might ask…because scallions are overpowering in flavor! All you can taste is scallions. Why would I want that when a scallion cream cheese is also offered? Doesnt anyone taste this stuff? Oh well another one bites the dust.

The recent change of ownership has been a welcomed positive for this establishment. Bagelville is spacious, and there’s always room to sit down and read the paper with your bagel and a coffee; that is if you’re old school like that. The main reason for my review is the service component of the equation. Oftentimes, Bagel spots can be understaffed and chaotic. People crammed in, long lines, and lackluster experience. My guys at Bagelville want to make sure you get what you came for, and leave with a smile. I recently brought both of my children with me, and it was refreshing the way they interacted with the staff. Overall, if you’re in the area, give them a shot. You won’t be disappointed. The W7 breakfast wrap is a healthy start to any day of the week.
