Great new bagel spot in Union. Well staffed, great service. Plenty of parking. My sandwich was made with a respectable amount of Taylor ham. This is a selling point as most places will charge 8 bucks for a sandwich with one slice of Taylor ham! Bagels are fresh and soft. Highly recommend. They have an extensive menu.

I’ll preface with this: delicious, real quality ingredients and great customer service.
So I stopped in this place because I happened to be getting my dog groomed next door. At first glance I was impressed with the atmosphere and cleanliness so figured I’d give it a shot. And boy am I glad I did. Ordered a bacon egg and cheese on a roll. Along with a cappuccino. I normally don’t enjoy buying coffee out because once you have it overseas, the US doesn’t really compare. But I was impressed with my cap. It was rich and balanced well. The breakfast sandwich was the real surprise. The roll it was on was like nothing I’ve seen before but fresh and filling (hoogie style). Bacon was layered and not that one or two piece we see nowadays. Cheese and egg we heated and melted perfectly. Needless to say I found my breakfast spot moving forward. And I look forward to trying more on the menu.

Very clean and well staffed location. Bagel was good and not too much dough. The bagel had a crispy bite to it when toasted. They had a good assortment of bagels but I wish they had French toast bagels. Prices for sandwiches are a little high but it’s definitely worth a try.

Me and my girlfriend frequently eat at bagelsmith, and have always received top notch service especially from Omar. The food is always consistently great, from the busiest mornings to a random afternoon its always going to come out the same. Another plus is their cleanliness is always on point aswell, the visible kitchen is always clean and the ordering/eating area is always spotless.

I just tried this morning and I simple LOVED IT!! It’s very hard to find a good place for bagels I’m so glad I found Smith Bagels. I’m very picky for food and I don’t usually leaves reviews but you guys deserve it!! The bagels are super fresh and delicious. Great costumer service keep doing your great job you just got a regular client HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Bagel Smith in Union is hands down one of the best spots around! The portions are perfect. trhey absolutely load up your sandwich and make sure you’re getting more than your money’s worth. Everything is always fresh, the bagels are perfectly toasted with that ideal crisp on the outside and soft inside, and the ingredients taste high quality. The staff is friendly, quick, and consistent every time I go in. My favorite item is the breakfast burrito, absolutely delicious. If you’re looking for a spot that doesn’t skimp and actually takes care of their customers, Bagel Smith is it. Highly recommend!

This new bagel shop is amazing! They have many different bagels, cream cheeses, and sandwiches. Their bagels are especially good! My only complaint is that the price can add up pretty quickly. Otherwise a great bagel place.

First time visiting, I usually get a Taylor ham egg and cheese on a roll but was told they don’t have rolls. I got lucky bc the bagel was FANTASTIC! Perfectly cooked Taylor ham and egg. Clean establishment, perfect spot for Kean students and employees in the area to grab breakfast.

Incredible, brand new hidden gem (but not for long). The area needed a great morning bagel spot and this is it! They have fresh bagels and sourdough bagels (equally as delicious). Sandwiches are hefty and yummy (at least 2-3 eggs each). Also have inventive, cream cheese flavors, bagel flavors (cheddar jalapeño for ex) and latte flavors like crème brûlée. Place was busy on a Sunday am but once word gets out, I’d expect it to be even busier. Overall, well worth a stop in the morning!
