Outstanding Bagels and Service!
Bagels on the Corner is everything you could want in a neighborhood bagel shop — and more. Their bagel sandwiches are always fresh, perfectly toasted, and generously filled. The variety of bagels and cream cheese flavors is impressive, and the coffee is consistently hot and smooth — a perfect start to any morning.
Service is quick and polite every single time. Even during the busiest hours, the staff handles the rush with a smile and genuine care. It’s clear they value their customers. What really stands out, though, is the loyalty and familiar faces of the team — many of the same friendly workers stayed on after the ownership change, which says a lot about the positive environment and dedication here.
If you’re looking for great bagels, excellent coffee, and warm, reliable service, Bagels on the Corner is absolutely worth the stop.

I have been asked to go to Bagels on the Corner in Bangor by so many people. I tried once and naturally it was the one day a week they’re closed. I finally made it out on a day they’re open…and I was rewarded handsomely.
This is The Fat Boy! Sausage, bacon, Jersey meat (I don’t care what you call it, save yourself the few words typed), eggs, cheese, and a hash brown. I ordered it on an egg bagel. Menu price is $10.95 and this was my breakfast and also my lunch.
The bagel was a little doughy for my liking, but I didn’t get it toasted so maybe that would have changed it a bit. Everything else was delicious. No SK for anyone who is curious, but I did add some P. I don’t love ketchup on eggs, and with that many breakfast meats you do not need salt.
Solid sandwich for sure and I would definitely go back again. Bagels on the Corner – Didn’t Suck!

To start off the food is very good here but the service is HORRIBLE!! I have called multiple times to schedule my food to be prepared and the employees refuse to answer the phone. I have gone in person the last two days in a row because I thought maybe they were just busy but today I literally witnessed an employee just LOOK at a ringing phone and not answer it. There were FOUR employees in this restaurant and not a single one could answer the phone? These sandwiches are over $7 each(that’s almost $40 lost in the days I couldn’t get through before just going there) and it’s sad to think of how much revenue is potentially lost because of negligent behavior of an employee refusing to literally do their job. My time is very valuable to me please do better.
