My family has lived a block away from this place since it’s opening in 2006. In all that time I had never been there. That was a big mistake on my part. I walked over this morning after I saw that it had a 4.8 rating and looked at the menu. I ordered the Breakfast Bagel (sausage, egg & cheese)and an everything bagel with cream cheese. It was delicious, soft but still had a bite to it. I will definitely be returning. Also the gentlemen and lady working were very kind and welcoming.

This is a GEM of Modesto for sure. The service is always amazing, the friendliest folks at the counter and running the back! Not to mention the great service on top of being so quick. Even if I’m running behind in the morning, I know that stopping by Bagels N’ More won’t throw me off schedule much, if at all. Their bagels are also easily the best I’ve had in the 209 (GET THE JALAPEÑO BAGEL, you won’t regret it.)
Plus, every flavored cream cheese I’ve had here has been delicious. They never miss!

I love coming here. Bagels and More have the freshest most delicious bagels. Their breakfast sandwiches are amazing. This small family owned restaurant not only serves bagels but, pasteries, fruit, yogurt, expresso, tea, and more. The service is great! Can’t wait to go back. If you like bagels, you have to try Bagels and more.

LOCATION (= 1 ⭐️) – The location was interesting. Located in a strip mall off one of the main business districts in Modesto California, the indoor area itself is relatively small.I would say that this bagel establishment should probably be a place best patronized through pick up and to go only. I say this Not only due to the small size of the interior, but the extremely random and uncomfortable chairs and tables set up inside. The restaurant was clean however, but I would say they lose a star in this category.
✍️ SERVICE (= 1 ⭐️) – The service was excellent, we were greeted the second we walked in with a smile and professionalism. The staff seemed as if they were family, and if they weren’t family they might as well have been. They were friendly, quick, and truly made the restaurant feel like your classic local hometown favorite breakfast spot.
FOOD (= 1 ⭐️) – The bagels, simply put, are phenomenal. I ordered the breakfast bagel on asiago paired with regular cream cheese and my wife ordered the pastrami bagel on a jalapeño, both were rich in flavor and the bagels were dense. We would absolutely come back.
PRICE (= 1 ⭐️) – The price point of these bagel sandwiches are anywhere from the six dollar to nine dollar price point. In my personal opinion, coming from a more rural southern state, these prices seem a bit high. But in this area in California we were not surprised by this price point, I don’t think anyone should be deterred by these prices within this market.
EXPERIENCE (= 1 ⭐️) – Our experience was overall good, due to the high quality of food and good service. They had a big TV playing football and I enjoyed watching that, along with today’s newspaper that I was able to glance at and enjoy.
Overall Thoughts – 4 ⭐️’s! Would recommend.

I love that this bagel place is right here in my neighborhood. Good bagels and bagel sandwiches. Staff or family owned and friendly. Quick service for early mornings and I love the community members that visit here as a hang out some mornings.

Just picked up the Meat Lovers sandwich on the jalapeño/cheddar bagel and it’s incredible! Super soft, not chewy like you sometimes get from store bought bagels. First time trying this place but I’ll definitely be back!

In my opinion they are the best bagel shop in Modesto. They have not only bagels but a great variety of breakfast and lunch options. I really love the yogurt parfait it has strawberies and granola in it. The owners are a very nice and hard working couple. On occasion their daughter works. She is is very sweet.They have many loyal customers including myself. I highly recommend!
