Welcome to our homemade bagel shop! Bagels became our passion because there is an insanity about it. We attempt to re-create the bagel of our youth, preserving the dying art of the bagel, chasing after that distinctively crunchy exterior–coated in toppings only lightly so as not to compete with the flavor of our malt-infused dough. Pair bagels with a selection of our delightful homemade cream cheeses. We also offer breakfast and deli sandwiches, pastries, espressos, and smoothies. Stop by and taste the difference that homemade goodness makes.

Came here and it’s was crowded, haven’t been in like 7 years and peices definitely increased but thats everywhere sadly. They have seasonal pumpkin drinks and bagels. We got the peanut butter, pumpkin bagels and and breakfast egg sandwich with a pumpkin coffee which was so so, had a weird taste a bit.
The coffee bar area could have more options also.
Outside tables were a bit dirty and inside was almost hotter than outside and it being around 11am in bakersfield it was already hot. Could turn the AC down a bit.

As a big fan of both bagels and smoothies, this place is definitely servicing both of my favorites.
The wait is long during peak, but the wait is always worth it in my opinion.
There are an abundance of options in terms of actual bagel flavors, like lemon poppy seed my personal favorite. There are also an abundance of options with spreads.
Worth a visit. They do need to figure out how to streamline the serving process because an order of two bagel sandwiches and a smoothie led to a wait of 20+ minutes during peak.

Simply the best bagel shop in town! I’ve been coming here since I was a kid and the almond cream cheese is incredible! Just like Dewars and Smith’s cookies this is a Bakersfield staple. Highly recommend even after all of these years!

First time here today, and place was packed. Service was pretty quick though, got a drink and hot sandwich and couple bagels and cream cheese, order was made quickly, staff was friendly. The place was clean and had good amount of seating. Was a little bit expensive, but well worth it. Definitely be back again soon.

I always get the morning starter on an egg bagel toasted with butter. I’ve also had the raisin bagel toasted with butter and blueberry was really good too. Friendly staff and quick to get food out. Please know that the lines do get pretty long which is typically how things go at these bagel places.

Food is wonderful which is why this place is still open, customer service is awful, saw two girls making fun of a customer who simply asked where to order, no smile, no hello, just dry order taking. Wait time is excessive, waited 25 mins for two bagel sandwiches and the place wasn’t even busy at this time.

Absolutely 5 stars for the bagels and cream cheese. Honestly haven’t tried anything else but we have been coming here for 30 years for the bagels and they are unmatched! Peanut Butter, Banana, and Lemon are delish.

Friendly staff. Very quick to serve you. Delicious food and drinks. Not too high priced for great quality baked goods. Very inviting ambiance in the location. Indoor and some outdoor seating. Overall a great bakery, definitely recommend!
