As a Door Dash Driver, I love visiting this place for deliveries. Folks are always great, friendly, and proactive in serving all customers. Today I decided to stop in after my shift to try a chicken panini; best one I’ve ever had! Everything on the menu is awesome, and my customers rave about Bagelman. This is a MUST STOP for anyone visiting Greenville. Thanks to all the staff and management for making my visits awesome! There’s lots of reasons why this place is so popular.

A city can be judged by its bagel shop. We found Bagelman on our weekend visit. Met the friendly co-owner and can tell it’s a local favorite for breakfast and homemade baked goods. Staff is friendly and greets you with a smile. Non-locals, like us, were welcomed.
We went two days in a row for breakfast- although they have lunch paninis, melts, wraps and soups as well. We Utilized the self-order kiosk one day and the second day ordered at the register. My husband raves about the dark rye pumpernickel bagels. I enjoyed a sesame bagel and avocado toast topping the second day. A Large selection of bottled drink options, flavored cream cheeses, egg salads and fresh cut fruit cups in the self serve display. They have fountain drinks and a variety of coffees and speciality drinks. A News article hangs in the dining area and describes the sourcing of New York Pastrami for their Rubens. Can’t wait to try that on our next visit.

I was visiting Greenville from Charlottesville, VA, and saw that there was a well-rated bagel place nearby, Bagelman. I was pleased with the prices and the variety of options for your order. I ordered a simple egg bagel sandwich with mayo. Waited about 20 minutes for my food when the store was not busy at all. For one egg bagel sandwich with mayo. That was pretty frustrating.

When my order came out, it was if they had pooled a few small orders together and waited until they reached a critical mass before coming out and calling out names for the orders. I wish they had simply brought out my order as soon as it was ready- if that was even what the hold up was.

The egg bagel sandwich with mayo: The sesame bagel was cold, and rather stiff. The egg was hardly scrambled (lots of white still) and pretty flavorless (even with added salt and pepper). Worst of all was that there was hardly any mayo on my sandwich at all. It was bizarre. It was such a small amount that I wouldn’t have been able to tell the difference if there was no mayo at all.

Overall very disappointed with the experience, and seeing that there have been recent reviews also telling of their long wait times, I genuinely hope the owner starts cracking down on why the orders take so long to make.

We haven’t visited Bagelman Bagels in a while, as our last couple of experiences were not good. We decided to give it another try today. Unfortunately, it was not a good experience. There was only one table left, which was filthy (we cleaned). The one trash can in the dining area was completely overflowing, as people continued piling their trash on top. I watched two employees walk in and actually push the trash down, rather than just empty the trash can (pushing the trash down didn’t change the fact that it was FULL). When our food finally arrived, the BLT my husband ordered without mayonnaise was COVERED in it. He tried wiping it off, but the mayo was all over everything. My bagel was stale. We finally just threw our food away (on top of the pile of trash) and left. Definitely not a good experience, and we will not return.

This is the worse I’ve ever seen this store. Its gone way downhill.
Made an online order. 20 minutes before I got there. Waited over 30 minutes inside the store for 2 toasted ice cold bagels. The store was disorganized, the guy doing the running brought my bag out but never called my name, he checked with people waiting except me. I watched so me people getting their wrong or incomplete orders. My food was ice cold when I finally got it. Its like the employees didnt care at all this morning.
So many people left that store mad, and im one of them. This was garbage.

After running a Ragnar trail race all weekend my partner always wants a Pork Roll, egg and cheese on an everything bagel. Sadly not something I thought we could get her now that she lives in NC. We grew up in central NJ and are mildly judgemental about our Bagels and Bagel sandwiches. Bagelman is spot on, 100% recommend. We drove down from Rocky Mount just to try it and will be back, often.

Bagels are wonderful. We had an egg sandwich on a bagel which was delicious. We shared a panini
Which was pricey and just ok.
Took over 15 minutes for food.

Love this local cafe/bakery for breakfast and snacks. I usually don’t like bagel because they are hard to chew, but I like Bagelman’s. Made in house they claim and it is different than store brought or chain. My go to is bagel with peanut butter, or egg and cheese. Their pies and cakes are great too, except for the muffins, muffin was dry.
I would avoid their deli begal sandwich. Too little deli meat.
It is always crowded on the weekend morning so you know locals love them.

Love love love this little spot! The employees are very friendly, free cookies for the kids, high chairs on site, and tons of food and dessert choices. To top off our great experience, the food was super fresh and delicious. I absolutely love it here, adding to my list of go-to breakfast spots in town

An added bonus- they’re open after regular brunch hours end. Most similar places nearby close at 2pm.
