I found this place when working in the area on google. It was close and i went there to get a bagel. Very very nice, friendly people, i had the jalapeno cheddar bagel with bacon and chive cream cheese. Best bagel ever that i had in my life. So gooood, i had to go back the next morning. Super friendly staff, super delish food, i would recommend (and i will) this place to everyone.

Was just motoring through North Brunswick, tummy rumbling early in the morning, when I happened to stumble upon this cracking little café, and thank heavens I did! Leonor at the counter was an absolute star: warm, welcoming, and wonderfully cheerful. Angelo, the culinary magician in the back, turned out an everything bagel with cream cheese so good I nearly applauded.
The coffee? Like a cosy jumper for your soul, perfectly flavoured and comforting.
Overall, the place is spotless, the prices fair, and the whole vibe as relaxed as a lazy Sunday. If you find yourself anywhere near North Brunswick, I’d heartily recommend stopping by. You’ll leave feeling rather chuffed with your morning!

I don’t usually write reviews, but I HAD to for Bagel Mart & Cafe because wow… this place is truly something special.
I randomly stopped in and almost ordered online because I get shy, but I’m SO glad I went inside. From the moment I walked in, everyone was incredibly sweet, welcoming, and patient. The space itself is big, comfortable, and cozy — such a perfect place to sit, enjoy your coffee, and actually relax while you eat.
Now let’s talk about the food… INSANE. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and made EXACTLY how I asked. Literally perfect. The prices are amazing, there are so many options, and you can tell they genuinely care about what they’re serving. I was extremely satisfied and honestly so happy eating my food.
This is truly the best experience I’ve ever had at a bagel shop.
This is one of those places you don’t realize you needed until you go — and now I’m obsessed. I already know this is going to be my new daily bagel spot. I seriously hope they blow up because they deserve ALL the love and support.
If you’re debating coming here — please do yourself a favor and GO. You have to try it. Best decision I made today. I’m so grateful I found this place and I can’t wait to come back again and again.

Overall, the whole place was nice. The food was okay…. Got two ham egg and cheese bagels. One on a plain bagel, the other on an everything bagel and I’d give them a 6/10. It was ehh the bagel was barely toasted. We asked for it to be toasted and it simply felt warmed up on a microwave. Hash brown looked like Trader Joe’s hash browns that you can heat up. It isn’t bad but it isn’t my first choice!

Very new bagel spot right off Rt. 1 in Aaron Plaza. Nice clean place and the service was quick and kind. Bagels are big, but could have a better flavor, felt a little dry. Scallion cream cheese was one of the best I’ve had. They are still getting things together but I could see the potential.
One recommendation: move the bagel section next to the register so as customers come in they see the bagels right away. I didn’t realize they were on the side.

This bagel cafe is an absolute gem. The space is bright, clean, and welcoming, and the service is warm without ever feeling rushed. The bagels themselves are so fresh—perfectly chewy with that ideal crisp on the outside—and the spreads and toppings taste genuinely high-quality. Everything I ordered was packed with flavor without being heavy, and you can tell they really care about both ingredients and consistency. It’s the kind of place you walk out of already planning your next visit. Highly recommend!

What a delight to have a neighborhood bagel place! The bagels were fresh, very big, and soft. The bacon & egg on croissant sandwich was delicious. The prices are very reasonable. The coffee was good too. This bagel shop is located near the Chase bank on Rt. 1 and Aaron. Stay and eat in or get it to go. You won’t be disappointed.

Very clean place and environment but the food was disappointing. I ordered an overpriced ($10) bacon egg and cheese on a roll, and when I got home I discovered that there was no cheese on the sandwich. There were barely and eggs or meat either. I tried to call the restaurant to try to come to a solution, but they didn’t answer the phone.
