We bake real New York style bagels: mixed, rolled, boiled and baked here at our shop. We also make from-scratch soups, large, delicious salads, and made to order sandwiches on our bagels, bread or wraps. As we make everything to order (not sitting waiting for you for – how long?) our process takes a few more minutes, but you can choose to customize however you like! We are also a full service delicatessen and provide Boar’s Head meats and cheeses, including Taylor’s Pork Roll. Our headquarters and hind-quarters are right here in Maine: a small, locally owned business

Great food and awesome service. We are never disappointed when we stop for breakfast here whether it’s to go or dine in. Highly recommend the garlic bagels. There was also coloring books and crayons for our little one to use while we are which was a nice surprise.

Here’s my thing with reviews. If multiple reviews are complaining about the same thing, than it must have some merit. And I can agree with the lack of friendly service like other reviews. No one looks like happy to be there. There not rude, but most certainly not friendly. The cashier only asked for my name and didn’t say a single other word to me. Ignored me when I said have a good day. The food is average at best. What I got was beyond over priced. A breakfast sandwich was 8.25$. Circle K has the same exact sandwich for half the price and they’re already over priced themselves. I probably go back and try something else but it’s not a place that’s worth eating at a lot. Most because of the service

Definitely will be coming in again. Love the garlic cream cheese and everything Bagels. Great friendly environment and friendly people that work there. Had a pleasant experience with Brianna, she made sure we had everything we wanted and she did it with a smile. Will definitely be stopping in again the next time I’m in augusta.

Just recently started coming to Bagel Mainea as they have new owners who seemed to have completely changed the vibe to super positive! The inside is super welcoming as I love the mural, the LED lights, and the moose’s all over the shop! The lady who takes our orders is always super friendly and helpful! The staff and owners go way above and beyond to ensure that we all have a good experience! Super proud to be a regular at a place that loves its customers!! P.S. the sausage egg and cheese on a poppy seed bagel is the best thing I have ever had 🙂

Short line and tasty food. I always ask for what is recommended. The Monroe was great if you want a hot sandwich. I ate it on a jalapeno bagel to add some spice. It came with a pickle on the side if you are into that.
