This place has gone downhill severely. They gave me the wrong meat in my breakfast sandwich and with the prices you pay in this economy, it’s just unacceptable. Additionally – they didn’t respect the shmear. This is a New Jersey bagel shop, disrespecting the cream cheese is also unacceptable. Finally – it is so dark and dingy in here, the opposite of inviting. Will not be returning. Hot bagels for life xoxo

This place has gone downhill fast. They charge a ridiculous amount for a very small sandwich. Also, the service leaves much to be desired. Rude, impersonal staff. Recently, I went there to pick up an order. They close at 3 on Saturdays. Got there at 2:20 and the door was locked. Thats it for me, I’ll to elsewhere.

So I am one to give chances. 4 to be specific. The last 4 times we have been here it has been bad.
Not the service. The lady’s working the registers have been very apologetic which I appreciate. The guys in the kitchen DO NOT care. Every time I am in here my order is messed up and I have to wait another 10 minutes for it to be made. We walked in at 10:15 this morning and didn’t walk out until 10:48. 33 minutes for a bagel with cream cheese and a breakfast sandwich is absolutely insane.
Not to mention the guys cooking get mad when I send my order back. Raised there voice at the lady telling them it was wrong and then halfass wrapped it and threw it into the bag. Absolutely unacceptable. Disgraceful, I hope the owners deal with this at some e point. Until then I will not be back here.

This was my first time ever here. I ordered the belly buster. I am the first person to tell you if something is overpriced and while everything definitely is very expensive now; I will say that this sandwich was a pleasant surprise. Most places heighten prices and do not match with quality and skimp on portions. This sandwich very well made and is loaded. I didn’t mind paying the 13$ for it because honestly it was really good. The melted cheese made it 10x more yummy too.

Really good bagels. Good selection if you go in the morning. Staff is friendly and orders are made quickly. Price is a bit cheaper if you pay cash. Great specialty cream cheeses especially pumpkin spice and strawberry.

As I usually have gotten gluten free bagels here in the past and they were very good, this time they are not, at all. I’m assuming they switched bagels, and this time it was so thin, when it toasted it was nearly burnt, dried out and hard. $4 extra for this was not worth it, so I’m afraid to go back and try again. I will look next time before I leave the establishment.

Girl at the counter was apathetic. Called my order in. After paying the girl just started eating her food and talking to a coworker. There was an order ready with no one else waiting for anything. Both workers decided to just keep talking and doing nothing instead of checking the order up. The cook had to say something before they finally grabbed the order which was mine. If this was my business I would find better front of house employees. I am an avid regular and will think twice about coming back. Also employees shouldn’t be on their phones with gloves on and then handling food. Total lack of any sort of awareness or care for food safety. Owner needs to step in because service has continually fallen off over the last year

My husband and I are regular customers, we hadn’t been in since the summer and got 2 bagels with meat and egg salad. The egg salad was tasteless and bland, and my husband’s steak was burnt. Like whoever cooked it didn’t clean off the grill. The food was almost inedible. Very disappointing.

This place sucks. Food would be great if they ever got the orders right. Unfortunately for an $11 bagel, the cost of having the kitchen read the ticket and prep the meal correctly is not included. $24 after tip for two sandwiches may sound steep to some, but hey, at least I got a courtesy itemized receipt in the bag with what I actually ordered written on it as if to taunt me with what I could be eating should the staff ever care enough to read their own ticket and get it right the first time. My last 4 straight visits I have had to revisit the store to get my meal corrected – that is, when I’ve been fortunate enough to have the time to do this. This joint has raised the prices more often than they’ve gotten my orders right in the last year, zero exaggeration. Been eating breakfast here AT LEAST once a month for over a decade and the quality of my visits continues to decline. Hoping next week my money ends up in my stomach for once and not my trashcan again!
