I cannot say enough good things about this place! So glad we finally have a bagel place near us! Not only that but they make the best bagels and have a HUGE variety of options on the menu and such a beautiful building and atmosphere. Its hard to find bagels with everything seasoning on both sides and this place does exactly that! I got to enjoy both sides of my bagel without the bottom half being plain bread. The employees and owner, were simply amazing, very attentive and so nice! You must give them a try and I promise you wont regret it! Delicious!

These bagels had me reminiscing about my time living in Brooklyn Heights & Soho. Even the atmosphere of the shop has that New York feel to it.

Thrilled to have a local bagel joint! Bagels were top notch, great staff, cozy atmosphere. The lox with chives on an everything bagel was maybe the best I’ve ever had. Chicken salad spread was excellent! Garlic bagel was also a standout. We liked them so much we went back and got a dozen to take home. I think I’ve eaten 6 today
I hope they do some outside seating at some point! Go check it out!

Bagel Boss offers excellent quality bagels that are fresh and served in very generous portions. While I would not choose the iced coffee again, the overall experience was outstanding. The staff was exceptionally friendly and efficient, ensuring orders were prepared quickly. Without question, these are the best bagels in King, and I highly recommend visiting.
Update: Over my visits, I have explored a wide range of their menu options. The bagels are excellent, whether prepared as a classic bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich or topped with their delicious strawberry cream cheese. I also highly recommend the chicken salad served on a plain bagel, accompanied by a side of their flavorful macaroni salad. A particular highlight for our family is the rainbow cookie, a favorite of my daughter’s.
It is a genuine pleasure to have such a high-quality bagel shop conveniently located just minutes from our home.

I had a wonderful experience on opening day! I got an everything bagel toasted with scallion cream cheese, y’all these bagels are AMAZING. As someone who is originally from up north I know what a good bagel tastes like! The staff here is so so sweet and welcoming. Im so excited to have a bagel place in town, thanks Bagel Boss!

So delicious! Smells delicious when you walk in the door (smells like home for Long Islanders). Bagels & Flagels, different flavor cream cheese, breakfast sandwiches (Boar’s Head deli meat and what appears to be homemade salads (chicken, tuna, etc.).)
And they don’t skimp on the cream cheese ! I haven’t tried their pastries yet, but they look amazing (large Rainbow cookies and large & small Black & Whites)
Price reflects the quality.

Finally a NY bagel in NC. I have live down here for the last 15 years. One of things I missed was NY bagels There are few places close to a NY bagel but perfect. Now there is Bagel Boss yes you have it. Thank you Joe and his staff always a pleasant time stop in a get a bagel sandwich.

Bagel boss of king. You guys were able to take me back home with the first bite of this bagel. I haven’t had a good New York bagel since I moved away back in 2020. The schmear was beyond respectable, great cream cheese, soft and chewy bagel. It was delicious. Now. The black/white cookie was eh. A little hard, I’m used to the soft cake like base with a hardened icing. This was more of an airy sugar cookie. I’d come back multiple days a week otherwise. Keep killing it! …..ALSO, add a little Arizona iced tea refrigerator somewhere, can’t have a bagel without an Arnold Palmer :/

Delicious bagels! I’ve tried the chicken and tuna salad, both are great. My son loves the double chocolate chip muffins, of course I had to do a “taste test”… it was amazing! I like the variety of side options, I usually get the broccoli salad. You can also sample anything if you’re in doubt of what to get. I will definitely be back!

I went to bagel boss this morning, the ambience ,the food and the service was top tier!. as a fellow transplant who had bagels on LI for a very long time. this place will be the best bagel/deli in NC in due time . spreads of different CC and other cold salads to make any sandwich special. only thing i can say is to put a sign or banner outside near the road. it was kinda hard to see any idea where it is. come visit and see for yourself!!
