I have to give it to them I never ordered from a place where they consistently screw up your order or your missing items and have to take multiple trips for them to correct it. This place is ABSOLUTELY THE WORST!! I asked for a lightly toasted onion bagel with BEC and they burned my bagel. They didn’t even attempt to scrape off the burnt part like I have witnessed them personally doing it to other orders. This place sucks food doesn’t even taste like anything. No salt pepper or ketchup on my sandwich. I have tried to give them multiple chances but I’m done. No more wasting my money at this dump.

Ordered an everything bagel with cream cheese and butter and a French toast bagel the same way. Look how sad my bagel looks. They did not respect the schmear and its sad. The French toast bagel tasted good and had a little more than this. For $10, plus .78c for butter (lol) I need you to respect the schmear.

Quite simply the BEST bagels in NJ. The help is very polite and friendly. Place is very clean. Sandwiches, breakfasts lunch and just enter your phone number and you accumulate points and every so often you get something for free what’s not to like? The place is excellent. When I visit my daughters in PA they say dad please please bring some bagels as you can tell I like this place.

Picked up Bagels this morning. Was a little disappointed because I have ordered before and always used the ‘Order Ahead’ option. However, I noticed the feature has been turned off in the Clover App for several weeks now, and I figured since it was midday Saturday, it would be safe. Wrong. The place wasn’t busy, but many people were waiting and it took a looong time, even tho I only ordered a plain bagel with light cream cheese and a coffee. Several people that came after me got their food before, and what normally takes 3-4 min, took almost 12. Plus my order had to be remade because the lady prepping it accidentally toasted the bagel. I wrote it off as an off day, but came back on Sunday and had a similar experience. Needless to say, I’ll keep coming here because the facility is super clean and I love their food, I just hope they get it together and reopen the Order Ahead option!

If it is always full it is because the food and variety they offer in this bagel store is extensive and very good

They just can’t get it right. I first discovered this place in June 2025. Orders are incorrect when picking them up, it takes FOREVER to get your order whether it’s a mobile order, phone order, or an order placed within the store. The employees are nice but the orders are just always wrong or delayed. it’s exhausting and very disappointing.the picture is not what I ordered and this is supposed to be the corrected order.

honestly one of the best bagel shops i’ve been to in awhile. great bagel selection cheddar habanero is here for the win. always have to choose BEC to check a spot and it was delicious bagel toasted lightly but still crispy, crispy bacon, maybe a smidge more Ketchup and hotsauce (my opinion based on my tastebuds) but the flavors were there. will definitely have to run this back, and the girl at the register Dayanne is amazing, great customer service always offers great suggestions.

Best Bagel Bazaar in the franchise! The store is clean, staff are smiley and friendly, great food presentation and assortment, and overall amazing! The sandwiches named after NJ towns are fun, creative, and delicious. They even have MINI plain bagels everyday!! The flavored or specialty bagels are just perfect; not too much heat, just enough sweet, the right amount of cheese, hard crunchy exterior with a soft chewy center. They also have unique cream cheese flavors…strawberry tofu…s’mores?!?! Yum Their cookies, muffins, and other sweets are the perfect accompaniment to whatever you order.

It’s a shame how poorly this place is ran because the bagels themselves are actually good. If you walk in and order a breakfast sandwich, be prepared to wait 20-25 minutes for your food (even when it’s not busy). Not only that, but their prices are significantly higher than any other place in the area. I keep coming back and giving them a chance but it’s just not worth it anymore

I’ve been a loyal customer and have always said this shop is one of the best things to come to Middlesex. Unfortunately, the level of cleanliness and customer service has gone downhill, and after today’s experience, I feel it needs to be addressed publicly.
In the past month, we’ve received hair in our food twice—once in a bagel my wife ordered, and again today in my own bagel. At first, I assumed it was a one-time mistake, but two incidents in such a short period makes it clear there is a sanitation problem that needs to be corrected. Hair nets are a basic food-handling requirement, and this shop is clearly not enforcing that.
Today, my wife called the store to speak with someone about this ongoing issue. After waiting on hold for several minutes twice, the call was disconnected both times. When she finally reached someone, a woman named Michelle, who identified herself as the manager, answered.
Instead of listening to the concern, Michelle immediately told my wife to “calm down and lower your tone,” even though my wife was being completely respectful and simply asking to speak to someone in charge. Michelle then hung up the phone on her, which is extremely unprofessional. When I called back to speak with her myself, she offered no apology, no concern, and no willingness to address the issue. The attitude was combative and dismissive.
For a place that charges premium prices, this level of sanitation and customer service is unacceptable. A business should care when a customer reports hair in their food—not argue with them, belittle them, and hang up on them.
I’m posting this review not because I don’t like the food (the bagels are great), but because the management needs to take these issues seriously. Between the recent decline in customer reviews and our personal experience, it’s clear something has changed here, and not for the better.
I truly hope the owners see this and make improvements, because this shop could be the best in the area. But until there is better cleanliness, professionalism, and respect for customers, experiences like ours will continue to push people away.
