Bagel Base is by far, the absolute BEST bagel place in Saint Augustine, and maybe in all of North East Florida! Being from New York, I’m personally very picky about bagels. And I’ve always been let down or settled for something less than what I expected in a Bagel, at other establishments. When I found bagel base, I took a chance… and I was finally not let down for the first time in a long time!! The bagels are soft, warm, not over toasted, and ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! Their Sausage Egg and Cheese Bagels are absolutely amazing also. Definitely the closest I’ve found to resemble the quality of a New York breakfast sandwich. Which is extremely hard to do! Not only is there food delicious, but the establishment is clean, looks brand new, and has a trendy comfortable vibe. The owners and the employees are also so kind and frendly. Bravo to Bagel Base for their delicious and high quality fresh food. I would give 100 stars if I could! If you’re looking for a local bagel shop, look no further. This is the one! I promise, you will not be disappointed!!

New York bagel snob here…these bagels are a home run! Crispy outside, soft inside and plenty of toppings. I had a whitefish salad on a poppyseed bagel and my husband had bacon and egg on an everything bagel. Both were delicious. Bagels are made fresh every morning on the premises. The staff were friendly and the restaurant was comfortable and welcoming. Locally roasted coffee is an added bonus.

Today was my second visit and it definitely did not disappoint ☺️ My husband and I ordered the Turkey Bacon Avocado-Melt. It was delicious! Pure freshness and amazing flavors! My children had bagels and a breakfast burrito. They were very pleased with them as well! The place is very cute, well put together and clean. We were on a weekend getaway and will definitely eat here when we come back! Perfect for breakfast and brunch! The only disappointment was the lack of consideration from other customers that finished their meals but chose to sit and talk rather than allow others to use the limited seating area to enjoy their meals as well. I had to eat standing. It’s definitely not the owners nor employees fault. Thank you for the great service provided!

Went in about 6:50am, service was friendly and instant. I was out the door with my order in less than 5 minutes and my food was fantastic.
I ordered a sausage, egg, and cheese on a Jalepeno cheddar bagel. The bagel was crispy with a chew and just spicy enough for me to not want hot sauce on it. The eggs and sausage were well cooked and high quality.

Great, great new bagel++ eatery serving Palencia, Murabella but totally worth the drive from St. Augustine, 16 to 210! Fresh, made daily and VERY New York flavor, an array of choices along with fabulous cream cheeses (veggie was perfect). Couldn’t help but bring home their baked goods, fudgey brownie and crumb cake (also very NY, both moist, perfectly baked and not very sweet. Definitely a place for breakfast or lunch with a delectable menu, can’t wait to go back!

This is my new favorite bagel shop! The interior is well designed. Very modern and clean. There was an excellent selection of fresh bagels. I especially love that they offer a wheat everything bagel. I ordered the wheat everything Lox And Loaded – it was absolutely delicious I also got a fruit cup, which was one of the best fruit cups I’ve had in a long time. The coffee was good, and they have an enticing array of sweet baked goods to temp your willpower. Great ambiance, service and food. What more can you ask for?

So I’ve been in St. Augustine for 30 years now. Originally from Miami and I have finally found a bagel shop that is as good as any I’ve been too. Reminds me of Aventura/North Miami Beach. I’m a lox fanatic and have been disappointed up until this past Saturday at Bagel base. On top of the food tasting so fresh the staff was even more welcoming! This will definitely be a place that will get frequent visits. If you get a chance stop in and see the folks!
