The ambience is decent, with some effort spent to make the seating area standout from the average dine in. Orders are placed on the phone using a QR code on the table. Prepaid.
They are one of the few unlimited non-veg thalis in the Bay Area, and the dishes the day we went did not disappoint. The roti and poori were both made fresh and tasted good. The chicken and mutton were well cooked. The shrimp was tasty.
The standout dish had to be the Bagara Rice. That’s a relief since so many places with “Biryani” in their name can’t seem to get Biryani right.
Recommended for the food. Might repeat dine in for the non veg thali. Else takeaway.
For what you get, especially with the unlimited thali, the pricing is super reasonable. Great for big appetites or family-style meals. Portions are generous even outside the thali format.
skip breakfast if you’re planning the thali for lunch
The service was also terrible. There was only one guy and one girl working, and they seemed more interested in gossiping about the customers than providing good service. I witnessed one customer, who had arrived before me, having an issue, and as soon as he left, they started bashing him behind his back, which is not commendable at all.
I had to wait about 20 minutes for my order. The girl working there saw that I was waiting, but she didn’t call me to let me know that my food was ready. After about 10 more minutes, I asked her about my order. She realized that my food was ready but instead of taking responsibility, she said she had a lot of other things to do. She claimed it was her only job to cook and call out names, which felt dismissive.
Overall, the service was terrible, but at least the food wasn’t bad.
