I was brought to try BaFang Dumpling, a Taiwanese-style place with long dumplings seared on one side until golden brown.
Everything here was very good – budget-friendly and with an easy dine-in atmosphere, resembling a fast-food pace.
We ordered side dishes: Tofu skin and Cold Beef Muscle and Nuts. They were excellent and suited the moment, keeping our appetites satisfied while waiting for our main order.
We had Taiwanese dumplings, mixed steamed dumplings, corn soup, spicy and sour soup – OMG!! They were all so delicious. However, the highlight of this meal was the plain appearance of the spicy peanut noodles!
I couldn’t stop having them, even though they were a bit too spicy for me, and I was already full.
BaFang is now on my bookmark list, and I’ll definitely come back again. Thank you for a good meal.
Food
Like I mentioned, the food is pretty much the same as Taiwan, at least in my opinion. The potstickers are light and crisp, the hot and sour soup is just the right amount of spicy and sour, and even their pork chop was good! I do think it is more expensive them Taiwan, but it is worth it! Just wished they had more variety of chili. The noodle they have is super tasty as well!
The place isn’t the biggest place, so if you have a big party I would suggest that you take it togo. The only thing I would ask from this place is to have more trash cans, and to have a cleaner sauce station. I had to walk all the way across to the other side of the place to find the tray return station, and that is the only place they have a trash can. Imagine someone that has all this trash and needs to carry it over, I believe there is a lot more chances for something to drop of the floor causing more cleaning. Anyways, love the food, and will be back for sure. Until next time!

As the name of the restaurant states, they serve dumplings, and while they make a pretty good steamed dumpling, I really enjoyed the pan fried pot stickers. Lightly fried on one side, they seemed thinner and lighter than their counterparts, but both shared the same filling of cabbage and pork. They had other options, but since this was our first time here, we went with the original.
The hot and sour soup was full of mushrooms, thinly sliced bamboo and tofu. Perfect on a rainy day.
One caveat, I would have liked to see a vegetable option like green beans or bok choy.
The staff was helpful and the restaurant itself was clean, but not inviting. I felt an odd emptiness while we ate there and would have enjoyed the food more at home, but that’s just my opinion.
I’ll definitely be back — for takeout.
The cashier man recommended me to order Bafang Signature Potstickers & Dumplings so I did AND I topped it off with a Soy Wild Mango w/ Boba. I went ham with the sauces and I’m glad I did because all of the flavors really complemented my two orders.
I can’t wait to come back and order from the rest of the menu.
