We went on Saturday around 4:30 and opted to sit on the deck and enjoy the gorgeous view. Staff is warm, portions are ample, drinks fabulous, and food exquisite. The deck got a tad chilly after the sun set, but there are blankets to keep you cozy. We are so grateful to have a new year round haunt in Truro!

From the moment we parked, I was impressed by the cozy exterior with subtle lighting and understated holiday elegance at the Baedega’s exterior. Upon entering we were greeted warmly by Tracey who graciously took our heavy winter coats and introduced us to our bartender Kate. We were seated at the bar which is usually not my favorite seat, and in just a few moments I felt at home. Drinks came promptly and we were treated to the friendly banter among the staff and other guests. The entire restaurant has an air of a speak easy, with optional comfy seats and a large table for seating options. For the menu – what a great little hearts romaine salad that was followed by the grilled burrata and steak tips. Each dish surpassed the other and such generous portions! I can’t say enough about how warm and friendly the entire team were and how the menu surpassed all expectations. And what we ordered was just perfect. We wish Christina and Tracey the best of luck, they are certainly on the right track and as part time Truro residents we have found a new go to space that has been underutilized for years in that corner of Truro Center. Our friends were correct in the raves they gave Baedega, and we at last have found our new go to. We can’t wait to return.Do make a reservation!

My human returned from Baedega once again smelling like joy, adventure, and food that I was not permitted to experience firsthand. I listened to the stories, the descriptions, the “you would’ve loved it, buddy,” and something inside me shifted.
A resolve.
A fire.
A destiny.
I looked my human dead in the eyes — the way only a dog with a mission can — and I declared, silently but powerfully:
Next time, I’m coming with you.
No more staying behind to guard the house from imaginary threats.
No more pacing by the door like a Victorian widow awaiting her sailor.
No more hearing about Baedega secondhand like some kind of culinary orphan.
No.
I will be there.
I will trot into Baedega with purpose.
I will sit politely under the table, radiating charm.
I will accept compliments from strangers with grace.
And if a crumb falls — even one — I will be ready.
This is not a request.
This is not a plea.
This is a proclamation.
Next time, I’m coming with you.

Baedega catered our outdoor tented celebration in Provincetown for 80 people in November of 2025. Christina, Tracy and their team were polished, professional and extremely easy to work with from the event’s conception all the way through execution and clean up. They made excellent suggestions to enhance the event and brought incompetent and skilled third parties for services like the tenting. The food was outstanding and everyone left well-fed and delighted with the menu. Baedega were especially good at “reading the room” and timing the pacing and quantities of food. I would recommend without hesitation them to anyone looking for a caterer in the Outer Cape and I look forward to patronizing their restaurant in Truro.
