The Double Baddie had a legit Maillard reaction — crispy edges, beefy flavor, no nonsense. The potato bun tells you everything you need to know before the first bite. Soft, sturdy, correct.
Would’ve happily taken more of those sautéed onions (no complaints, just dreams). Simple menu, which is always appreciated — do a few things and do them right.
Shoutout to the young woman working — super friendly, attentive, and clearly gives a damn.
And the puddin… unreal. Light, puffy, not heavy at all. Dangerous in the best way.
Really good stuff.
So yeah — go eat here.

The quality of the meat is top tier. You can taste it immediately. The smash is absolutely perfect — crispy, caramelized edges with a juicy center. That texture contrast is everything. The sauce ties it all together without overpowering the beef, the bun is soft but holds up perfectly, and the pickles add the exact right amount of acidity, sweetness and crunch.
The fries. Hand-cut and absolutely perfect. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and seasoned just right. Not bland. Not greasy. Just pure flavor with the perfect crunch.
Now here’s the wild part — the price. $11 for a double smash burger, fries, and a drink. That is literally unheard of for this level of quality. The value alone makes it unbeatable.
I also tried the homemade banana pudding, and it was incredible. Super light, fluffy, and not overpoweringly sweet at all.
Service was excellent, the vibe is great, and the food speaks for itself. This place is a must-visit in Athens. If you love burgers, don’t overthink it — GO.
got (2) of the double burgers, all the way. got both cajun and regular fries. the burgers were both comically small and honestly uneventful. the fries were thin and i believe left out for too long? when ordering inside, there was only one table eating in and i got my food to-go. i believe the owner was there and he was super friendly, but the food didn’t make up for that.
with everything (the burgers + medium drink upcharges) the total was $24.84 which is not worth it to me for what i was expecting. disappointed, but still glad i gave the baddie name a second chance after having a very similar experience at the 5 points baddies.
It preserves the baddies brand and flavor we’ve come to love, while adding a new and fresh vibe.
