BDBB is a chain headquartered in Colorado, but I had never heard of them before. We were cordially greeted, asked if we wanted to dine inside or outside, and since it was such a lovely evening, we chose the covered outdoor dining area.
I’m not sure exactly what theme this restaurant was trying to achieve because there was such a missmash of different designs. There were automotive elements, posters, and rustic mechanical/rural rough wood elements. The very small bathrooms even had what appeared to be exposed, galvanized plumbing around the mirrors. I think, as the name might dictate, they were going for a roadside biker bar theme.
While there is a standard menu with lots of choices, there are pencils and a pad at each table where you can choose proteins, toppings and condiments (21 different sauces) to build an entree to your liking.
My wife and I chose to order from the printed menu. She opted for the All-American Burger while I chose Emilio’s Chicken (one of their signature, fan favorites).
Her burger with house made chips was very good (I had to sneak a bite). The chips were great too. My chicken sandwich was excellent – a perfectly fried chicken breast with mozzarella, jalapeno bacon, chipotle mayo, lettuce, tomato and onion. My fries were not quite as crispy as I would have liked but they were perfectly seasoned and served with Bad Daddy sauce which was very flavorful.
Kudos to our server, Bobbie L. She was fantastic, making sure our every need was met.
Since BDBB is around 100 miles from my house, I probably won’t frequent it often, but I recommend that you give it a try if/when you’re in the area.
Arcadia and Mackenzie—aka Mack and Arc (I proudly came up with that)—were phenomenal. Attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond answering our questions (and then some). Service with personality.
Yeah, the food took a little longer than expected, but it was well worth the wait. The mushrooms were hearty, the egg added that perfect touch, and don’t even get me started on the fry sauce—spicy, sweet, and dangerously addictive.
The only suggestion I recommend is to please check the bathrooms. Customers suck and I don’t fault the establishment, but it was kinda bad.
Pro tip: ask for Mack or Arc when you go.
Already looking forward to round two.
We had CYO burger with impossible and CYO side salad & CYO Burger with Buffalo burger & fried egg with sweet potato fries.
Visited again Friday. Everything was very good.
The food is good but over prices for burgers. The service is slow. If you have plenty of time and don’t mind spending $20 for a burger, fries and a fountain drink the food is solid.
The burger I got was the “bacon cheeseburger on steroids.” It had six pieces of Bacon on it. It is a good burger but definitely a lot to handle.
