The beer list is cute, with funny names for each brew, indicating different kinds of “dads”. I chose the Dude Abides brew which I actually liked. Normally, I’m not a fan of IPA. We ordered a salad to share and it was enormous., plenty for 4 people. I can’t say enough good things about the salad. Fresh, crisp greens, red onion, cucumber and feta cheese, topped with a delicious vinaigrette, made this salad exceptional. Clearly, it was not made with bagged lettuce you so often get.
The pizza was light and crisp, with pretty sparse toppings considering the $21 it cost. It was delicious, but small for the hefty price. We also ordered tiramisu, which was unlike any I’ve ever had before. It was pretty to look at but lacked the flavor we expected. I’d pass on that.
The service was fantastic and we will definitely be back.
The bruschetta and the pizzas were insanely good, and the whole place was super clean, even the bathrooms. But what truly won us over was the service. My husband and I are truckers, and we came all the way from Virginia. We hadn’t eaten anything all day, and we got to the restaurant about 30 minutes before closing, yet they still treated us with so much kindness. After a long day of work, all you want is to go home, but they made us feel like the time didn’t matter at all.
Every single person made us feel welcome, from our server to the chef.
Thank you so much for taking such good care of us and serving with love. You all are what make this restaurant truly special.
From two pizza lovers: 1000/10! ❤️
Teri was my waitress and she was amazing , VERY SIMPLE MENU
(EASY TO MAKE A CHOICE )
I asked if they offered a flight to taste all the different craft beer they did not offer this
(which is different considering all local ipa’s)
Teri asked me to pick a few and she would get samples , (amazing service )
I ordered the Detroit pizza .
Upon first look I was thinking to myself hmm.
I just paid $18 for a pizza the size of a little ceasers deep dish.
Oh well maybe it will be good ,
if it’s good I’d pay $25 .
The flavors went together very well and it was cooked great , but there was an issue and this unfortunately cost this restaurant the stars I would have loved to give .
(If I ordered cheesy bread)
FORGOT THE TOMATO SAUCE …..
Detroit pizza has sause underneath the cheese , NOT A FEW DRIPS on the top.
However the atmosphere was good and the rest rooms were very clean
I will write another review when I stop in and try again .
Shout out to Teri , if you have the pleasure of having her be your waitress she will not disappoint
We have now gone 3 times.
The Bushwick Red Pie and Yo, Paulie White Pie were delicious. Perfectly cooked with a crispy yet chewy crust. We love the hot honey on the pizza, too! (Also great for dipping the crust)
Tonight was the first time we also got the Fougase Bread. The herb salt was so yum. The tomatoes sauce is served cold, which I don’t prefer, but everyone else enjoyed it that way. We have also gotten the Brushetta, which we enjoyed.
My husband is an IPA guy and had a positive response to their beers. He’s gotten the Pull My Finger each time. I usually get a sour or tart, but liked the Tapestry of Obscenity!
