Came in for lunch with my wife today. Outstanding!!
Awesome atmosphere, exceptional service, reasonable prices and phenomenal bbq food!
We had the 4 meat platter with brisket cheddar sausage, brisket, chicken & pork, plus we added a side of ribs, half & half potato salad & pit BBQ beans. Every bite was delicious! I wish we had a Bad Brad’s BBQ in Grand Rapids!
Our server was really good too. Very quick, attentive and friendly.
We’ve been to BBQ joints all over the globe and this was definitely one of the best ever!
Cool decor, great service, amazing food and good prices, What could be better than that?!?

To say that I am impressed with my entire experience here is an understatement! The incredible & unique decor throughout the entire building & outside of it was awesome. The delicious food was some of the best I’ve ever had! The best part of my experience here was having Kimberly serve us. It was evident that she was kind, patient, & beyond knowledgeable, giving great recommendations. I have to assume that an employee like her is an asset to a company with a great reputation like yours. Additionally the employees up front & the food servers were top-notch too, & even checked to make sure we enjoyed everything. A great team is the ripple effect of success & a good life. I am in a food coma right now, but can’t wait to come back! Lastly, as a young person with limited mobility from a stroke, I am passionate about accessibility. There were several spacious handicap parking options, along with flat/curb-free entry! Even though I can walk now, this is so important to have in today’s world! Upon pulling in was confusing, due to the lack of parking up front and notifications on the uninviting front doors. Seemed like it was closed. After verifying it was closed and doubting our choice, we were immediately assured this would be a great experience. The hostess greeted us with smiles and courtesy. The manager was available to lead us to our table. He took the time to ask what brought us to the establishment and listened to our concerns about the entrance. The waitress was exceptional and patient. The food was….AMAZING! The sauces to choose from was an unbelievable experience of taste and amazement! Please do not pass up the chicken nachos for the app.

Came in for a late lunch with my husband and at first no one came to the counter to seat us, I was literally about to walk out, I stood there for at least 4-5 minutes and no one even acknowledged me. Finally we got seated, I asked for a booth, instead of a table and we got seated at a booth. I ordered the pork belly burnt ends as an appetizer, and I guess I really didn’t read the menu lol, because I had no idea it came with tortillas and pickles. They were so good! Would definitely get those again. I don’t feel like I needed the tortilla and it just ended up filling me up, lol. I got the Bad Brads BBQ Burger (lunch portion) and my husband got the Mickey Sandwich (chopped brisket) lunch portion. I got fries with mine and he got cornbread. They both came with bbq kettle chips too. My burger was delicious! It was also small which I appreciated since I was stuffed from the burnt ends. I asked and our server did say lunch portions are smaller. The fries are hand cut and I normally don’t care for that kind of fry but these are outstanding! My husband let me try his cornbread (as it was huge!) and it had great flavor with a jalapeño butter. We would definitely come back here. Hoping they get a host soon, because I know I don’t like standing around waiting for someone to acknowledge my presence for longer than a minute.

Coming from out of town and I was in the mood for BBQ. Definitely a top tier meal. 2 options of brisket, pork belly burnt ends. Great variety of meats and sauces. Shayna at the bar was super pleasant and attentive.

I ordered the half slab of ribs, half a whole chicken, and the BBQ pork belly burnt ends. Each item was cooked with care and packed with flavor. The ribs were tender with a balanced smoke that didn’t overpower the meat. The chicken had a nice char on the outside while staying moist inside, and the pork belly burnt ends were the highlight—crispy on the edges, melt-in-your-mouth in the center, and perfectly glazed.

Overall, great experience. The seasonal sangria was delicious and refreshing. The warm donut holes for dessert were amazing! They had sugar on them and came with three dips (chocolate, caramel, strawberry). I got the 1/2 chicken with a quarter rack of ribs, and I really loved the ribs. However, the chicken wasn’t hot, which was a little off putting/surprising. The Mac n cheese was delicious, as were the broccoli. I’d go back and try out a sandwich or maybe the taco platter.

We had an amazing meal at Bad Brad’s BBQ in Auburn Hills!
Our server was incredibly friendly and took the time to explain every dish — really appreciated the attention and passion.

We ordered:
• Pork Belly Burnt Ends – perfectly caramelized, smoky, and tender.
• Pig Candy – sweet, crispy bacon heaven!
• Turkey Salad – fresh, flavorful, and a nice balance to the heavier BBQ dishes.
• Pork & Brisket Combo with Broccoli and Collard Greens – the meats were juicy and full of smoke flavor, and the sides were cooked perfectly.

Every dish was spot on — rich flavors, great portions, and authentic BBQ taste.
Highly recommend this place if you want real, well-crafted American BBQ with great service!
