My husband was getting his MS infusion down the road from Bad Boy Burger so we decided to grab lunch from this joint today. He used to frequent this joint when it was off of Fairview so he knew what kind of service and food to expect. It was my first time so I was excited to see what they had to offer.
Walking in, the place was bright and clean. I headed to the counter and this sweet gal greeted me. I got my husband his usual which is a grilled ham and cheese sammy. I ordered a bunless double cheeseburger with jalapenos and grilled onions. Of course I got a side of fries and a vanilla shake to go with my husband’s sammy. You gotta have fries with a burger!
Since I recently got my new kidney, I have to be really careful with utensils, condiments and lids that are communal. I have to be so careful with germs that could possibly be on these common items. I told the sweet gal behind the counter about my new kidney. The gal was sweet and let me grab what I needed out of the boxes behind the counter that no one had access to. I appreciate that she was understanding and kind about my safety. Didn’t question it one bit! I got my utensils, ketchup packets and napkins.
My burger was so tasty! I was only able to finish half of it. So, next time I will definitely just get a single patty. There was plenty of cheese, jalapenos and grilled onions. The fries were hot, salty and crispy. I did enjoy the soggier fries, the soggy ones are my favorite. The fry sauce and ranch were both great dipping sauces for the fries. My husband did not share one sip of that vanilla shake and he finished the whole thing. I’ll take that as a great shake!
From the service to the food, everything was great! I appreciate the gal behind the counter for being so kind and considerate about my health needs when she didn’t have to. The fries and burger that I had was killer! I say that ranch was some of the best I have had. We are never really on that end of town but if we are, I know where we will be eating! You can never go wrong with a good burger and fries.

Surrounded by businesses this is still pretty well hidden from the street, I hope enough people find it that the location does well. A former Dickies Barbeque spot off Overland in Meridian, they have been open since April. Met Pepper, one of the original skateress servers at Rockie’s Diner, who took our groups orders, answered questions about the fresh cut onion rings, the ample zucchini strips being fried, and the rest of the staff seemed friendly too. Our orders came out quickly. We brought twenty people in our group, there is plenty of seating available. The onion rings were thick cut, with panko breading but could use some spice and salt. Better to add at the table than try to take away. I liked my double cheeseburger, pretty juicy with the sauce, all the portions were huge. Looking forward to going back soon.

This is a solid classic burger. Great flavor melted cheese. All the good options on a burger you will want. The tater tots were nice and crunchy on the outside. Tender on the inside. They need more seasoning.
Also a very different fry sauce.
Very good meal. Keep it up guys!!!

We love Bad Boys Burgers and we are so glad that they have one closer to our home now. My wife loves the Colossal Burger and we both love the Sourdough Burger. And their fries are amazing. It’s a great place to go just prior to going to the Majestic Theater for a movie. The sandwiches are so large we often share one.

Have never tried Bad Boy Burger until tonight. Not bad. I’m always on the lookout for a good quality burger with lots of flavor. This burger was huge. Well worth the money. Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because there was no flavor to the burger. Add a little salt, pepper and garlic and I’ll be there every week!

Ordered food to go. Saw two containers get put in the microwave – turned out to be my chili cheese dog and tots with cheese. Order was put in a bag and stapled. Once I got it, it never fell over or was turned, but the chili cheese dog was a huge mess, and the cheese tots were not good. Both of our burgers were smashed and flat, too. The cheese was just shredded cheese, so when it got cold, the tots were just a block that was stuck in the container with hardened cheese. Burger patty seemed lower quality, too, especially for the price. Wife and I both agreed the food ranged from ok to not good.
Person taking order was friendly and helpful, which was nice. We will not be going back.

Great hamburgers, onion rings, fries and my favorite the deep fried tots. Don’t forget the awesome fried zucchini. Better that most the other hamburger joints.

I love bad boys burgers. This was my third time getting takeout from them so I assumed I knew what to expect. Usually great burgers and fries. Unfortunately they fell short this time. My family’s meal came with under cooked fries. They were so mushy and stuck together. They were completely inedible. It’s a shame I was really looking forward to the meal. I spent $40 on dinner. I won’t be back for awhile. Im so disappointed. Check your fries before you leave the restaurant.

The way our cheeseburgers were packaged lol. Yikes. Drive-through might not be the move y’all. Probably won’t be coming back. Crazy part is they were dead so it’s not like they were in the middle of of a lunch rush

I’ve been going to bad boys since I was kid. My parents were friends with the original owners and their 2 sons before their passing. I usually go to the one on Vista. They have always hired super nice people and had great service. But the overland location is a whole other level of customer service. Both guys that I dealt with were so kind and helpful. Offered things without even asking. The service was fast. This new location far exceeded my expectations! Vista is a great location too!
