Don’t let the location of Bad Ass Coffee deter you. It’s located within a gas station but the coffee choices and the fact they use iced coffee cubes is unique but smart. The taste is great. There is also a cute food truck inside for an added bonus.

Bad Ass Coffee has become my favorite coffee stop on SR-54. It’s tucked inside a gas station, but once you walk in it feels like a bright, Hawaiian-themed café with super friendly staff who are happy to suggest drinks if you’re unsure. The flavored lattes and iced drinks (with coffee ice cubes so they don’t get watered down) are delicious, and the breakfast sandwiches and malasada-style donuts make it easy to turn a quick coffee run into a little treat. Way better vibe and flavor than the usual chains in the area.

The coffee and service were good.I actually stopped to go to the restroom thinking it was a gas station / convenience store only, and was surprised to find Bass Coffee of Hawaii.
I’m a Starbucks guy and was pleasantly surprised by the taste of the coffee. Although it’s out of the way for me, I plan to be back.
Also, there’s a taco bus restaurant right beside it if that’s your thing.

Not a classic coffee shop, it’s first of all a gaz station with a snacking store, a tapas counter and a few tables for coffee and cake. But the ladies where very nice and talkative. The payment device was not working well so we had to pay in cash.

OK, let me be honest I didn’t take a picture, but the drink was gone in less than a mile and a half from the location as I started driving it is so delicious and they make it with espresso shots instead of cold brew, which I love I absolutely love. I got a white chocolate with a macadamia, and I added caramel to it, and it was an iced coffee a large with oat milk and whipped cream on top and I’m so happy right now. I also got a sausage, egg and cheese on the Hawaiian roll and it was delicious. The prices were great. The service was great. The young lady that helped me was very sweet and nice. I just had a really good experience and I hope if you try it out too that you have the same experience, it was great and I found out they have a location in Clearwater, which is by my mom‘s house so that makes it even better.

Great coffee! Service was very good…coffee is exceptional but be prepared to spend more…its Kona after all….. shop has whole bean ( they will grind it) and kcups for home as well as cups and other souvenirs. I gave the atmosphere 4 because it’s located in a gas station and split the space with a mini mart and taco place. They also have a nice outdoor seating area but again…gas station.

Today was my first visit to Bad Ass Coffee and it won’t be the last! We all loved our selections and were impressed with the quality of the coffee and bakery items. I love that the ice cubes are made with coffee and I was able to enjoy my iced coffee to the end! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The coffee was strong without being bitter and I love the unique combinations.

Absolutely love the coffee! We come here at least once a week. Great service and we love that the cubes are made of coffee as well. Today we got to go home with some goodies. So had to get a pic of our pup in it!

My husband & I been coming here for a good month & honestly it has been the best but today not so much . My husband ordered us a simple ice coffee mine was supposed to be a caramel wave ( medium) she made a large instead & even though that sounds amazing it wasn’t. I get the coffee & it doesn’t even taste like any whole milk is in it at all . My husband asked for extra caramel but the iced coffee itself tastes like mud dirt so I have to give it up because this isn’t it . I won’t be coming back
