Such a cute, welcoming coffee shop! We were nicely greeted by the employees when we entered. The employee who rang us up helped us with our choices and was very nice. Thwy have lots of shirts hats, coffee, mugs, and stickers with the logo on it. I love that!
Our lattes were all delicious. I highly recommend the Three Waves (coconut, caramel, and macadamia nut). We also bought a bag of Spiced Chai and I cant wait to make some at home.
Next time we’re in town, we’re definitely coming back here!

Fun stop with great coffee and a strong brand vibe. The mascot Jack definitely steals the show — the merch is well done and makes for a great souvenir or gift.

I had the butterscotch latte, which was spot on — smooth, not overly sweet, and well-balanced. Easily the highlight of the visit. I also tried The Bad Ass One sandwich. The sandwich itself is average in quality, but I’ll give it credit for being something different and uncommon compared to typical breakfast options, which was a nice change of pace.

The shop has a relaxed, beach-friendly atmosphere, friendly staff, and a welcoming feel. If you’re a coffee-first person, this place delivers. Add in the merch and unique menu items, and it’s a solid stop worth making.

I love the vibes of this place. My dad ordered the kona blend and I ordered the banana bread chai. They both taste fantastic. The chair truly tastes like banana bread. The breakfast sandwiches were great as well. I got the bacon egg and cheese and my dad got the Aloha. Both very tasty and warm. I would come back here in a heartbeat!

Such a friendly coffee shop. The staff is so chatty and helpful. They were so kind in answering all of my annoying questions about whether there was dairy in the syrups I wanted to try.

I even made a mistake by forgetting to tell them to make my latte decaffeinated, and they made me another, no charge.

I had a pumpkin mocha latte, my creation, it was a little odd, haha, but not their fault.

Their espresso blend was decent, but not as rich a flavor profile as I like. My husband got an iced coffee which he said was quite good.

The atmosphere was fun, with lots of seating. They served food but we didn’t try anything.

I took off one star because they only use Monin Syrups. I’m not a Monin fan (flavors are too artificial) and that is all they use. Their pumpkin spice latte is made with Monin Pumpkin Pie . I can do that at home. I recommend they try experimenting with making their own syrups. Many of my favorite coffee shops make their own.

My first time here- SO excited by how good the coffee was. I ordered the Cold Lava Cold Brew which came with vanilla cold brew. It was delicious. I like a nice strong unsweetened coffee and this fit the bill. I also cannot get over how awesome it is that they use coffee ice cubes! Absolutely brilliant. The cafe is gorgeous- love the decor and the ocean surf bar by the window. Will definitely be back.

I took my wife to BAC for the first time this morning. She said her only problem with it is that they should have told her that she would have wanted a large Banana Bread Chai, not a small. 🙂
Coffee is always good and food is always great – better than Starbucks!

I visit Surfside often. I’m always on the lookout for a new coffee shop. We stopped by on a Sunday morning and there was plenty of parking and seating while still busy.
I got their most popular drink called The caramel wave. It was delicious and I was able to get it with half caffeine. Hubby got brew coffee which was also delicious. We also got the bad ass one Hawaiian sandwich which included spam and pineapple and was delicious. We also had to check out their famous donuts and they were served warm and very, very good. If you are looking to try a new coffee Spot definitely check out bad ass, coffee and Surfside! Gavin was our server and he was friendly and attentive and answered all of my annoying questions:-)

I don’t always review coffee shops, but when I do, I choose those that brew legends in every cup—like Bad Ass Coffee in Myrtle Beach, SC, where the Hawaiian essence meets the Carolina coast in a symphony of bold flavors that could charm the pants off waves themselves. Folks, I’ll tell you what, this place is a real perk-me-up paradise! As your friendly neighborhood Dad, I just had to share the java joy from this Hawaiian-inspired hotspot. It’s got that island vibe that makes you feel like you’re sippin’ on sunshine, even if you’re just dodging seagulls on the Grand Strand. Five stars all the way, because this coffee joint kicks “bean” and takes names!

First off, the menu is a total grind-master—loaded with bold blends that pack a punch without the attitude. Their signature Bad Ass Lattes are legendary; I mean, they’re so smooth, they could caffeinate a whole luau! But let’s talk about the star of the show: the Banana Bread Latte. Holy moly, it’s like someone baked Grandma’s secret recipe right into your cup—warm, nutty, and swirled with just the right hint of tropical twist. It’s “a-peeling” in every sip, and trust me, it had me going bananas for more! The Mrs., my better half and chief taste-tester, declared it her new favorite, saying it was “loaf at first sight.” Even the kiddos, that energetic squad of mine, slurped down their kid-friendly versions without a single complaint—now that’s what I call a family brew-haha!

We hit this spot three times in three days during our beach getaway, and each visit was better than the last. Day one: Grabbed a quick cold brew to fuel our sandcastle empire—talk about a “shore” thing for energy! Day two: The boss (that’s the Mrs.) insisted on those Mana energy drinks, which are like rocket fuel with a fruity flair; they kept us “lei’d back” yet lively for mini-golf madness. By day three, we were regulars, chatting with the staff who are as friendly as a backyard barbecue host. They’re pros at recommendations, serving up smiles faster than you can say “espresso yourself.”

And here’s a quick punny anecdote: On our second visit, I ordered that Banana Bread Latte and joked to the barista, “This drink’s so good, it’s got me feeling ‘bread-y’ for adventure!” The gang groaned, but hey, that’s Dad duty—delivering laughs with every latte. The place is spotless, the vibes are chill, and the baked goods (oh, those muffins!) are the perfect sidekick to any cup. If you’re in Myrtle Beach, do yourself a flavor and swing by Bad Ass Coffee. It’s not just coffee; it’s a “mug-nificent” experience that’ll have you hooked! Five stars, no ifs, ands, or buts—er, brews!

Good quality coffee that tastes like coffee even in frozen form. Super fun atmosphere and easy to hang out in. They have Sample Saturdays with treats and coffees, and are always a great place to stop at. Our only regret is that this is the closest location to us and it’s six hours away

We really wanted to enjoy this place but unfortunately really disappointed. The girls at the front are very friendly. A man came from out back saw our large order and goes ” JESUS ” like sorry for spending $80 at your coffee shop for our family????
Our hot coffees were only 3/4s full.
