After experiencing a very disappointing cheeseburger at Sonic, we decided to give this new spot a try. I mean how can you go wrong with bacon in the business name? I have no idea what the “jam” part is about, maybe rock and roll (as the decor suggests). Anyway, my wife got herself a wonderful cheeseburger (big, juicy, fresh bun/toppings). And I got the bacon chile cheese sandwich which was basically a grilled geese with awesome greasy fillings. It was exactly as expected, heart-attackingly good. I also got myself The Defribulator, which is 2 deep fried bacon strips, with heavy gravy..whoa. It was too much for me. But I regret nothing. I enjoyed the onion scoops too. Ok long review done.

Ordered the cheeseburger with fries (both were delicious) also ordered the Breakfast burrito with bacon (potatoes were kinda overdone and dry) but other than that, service was prompt and staff was friendly which is always a Plus with me . I will dine in next time and upload more photos.

This is the best burrito I’ve had in a long time! The cook is super cool, he’ll customize your order the way you want it. Neat little diner, I hope when this Corona thing is over I’ll be able to dine in

Finally got to try Bacon Jam. Our new favorite place in Edgewood! Ridiculously good food and the owners seem like really good people. A must try.

I have been here a few times now and it has quickly become my new favorite place for burritos! Not only are absolutley delicious, but the burritos are as big around as my arm! The chili is flavorful and not too hot. The service is top notch. They’ve always had my food ready when I arrive and are friendly and prompt to deliver it to my window while respecting the appropriate social distancing guidelines.
Thanks for the great food! Keep up the good work!

Great atmosphere, good people, home style cooking. They were fantastic nice polite people who welcomed you immediately. Easy going and nice to talk with. Made you feel like a small town restaurant should like you belonged there. Green chili burger was delicious and fresh with custom made patties. The green chili chicken Phillie was delicious and had a new Mexican touch with Phillie roots. Pattie melt was amazing could taste the homemade patties. There hand made fries were fantastic. Had a custom made dessert that reminded you of grandma’s loving cooking. Good job keep up the hard work, the good atmosphere, and the kindness that shows from entrance to exit.

EDIT: Over the last couple months, the care and quality seems to have fallen. Their service is still top notch, but the food is not near what it was just a few months earlier. It would appear that the owners are leaving for Missouri later this month and everyone there is just going through the motions until the new management takes over. I hope this dip in quality is only temporary. I also hope C & M (current owners) have success east of the Mississippi.
Old review below:
Outstanding flavors, massive quantities and very affordable. A must if you want a full belly and enjoy what you’re eating. The Big Bad Wolf is amazing. Best Fish & Chips since Friday night fish-fry in Wis.

I almost never give restaurants bad reviews. I’ve worked at restaurants. I know what they go through to serve their customers. But my recent experience at Bacon Jam was so complete awful, if I can save anyone from having the same experience, I feel I have to try.
The place was dirty. Dead bugs. The staff not only wore no masks, but told us to take ours off when we entered. The place that prides itself on biscuits and gravy serves tough, reheated canned biscuits and watery gravy. They were out of coffee. Had no hot tea. The scrambled eggs were brown. The fries were limp. The iced tea was old. They allowed dogs (not service dogs) in the indoor restaurant. The staff shouted back and forth to one another, got both our orders wrong. The country fried steak sandwich was okay, but we had to ask for the onion which the menu said was included. And our thoroughly lousy food still cost us $32!
Don’t go to this place. Wait for a table at the East Mtn Grill, or even Denny’s.

A family member recommended this cafe to us. We wanted to try the Low Carb Taco Burgers. Bacon Jam did not disappoint! Everyone we dealt with was friendly and helpful. The taco burgers were amazing. We also split a chicken fried steak which was delicious. This is a gr era t place to stop by in Edgewood. Thank you to Bacon Jam!
