Mac & Melissa did a fantastic job preparing our take-out Dinner for a Surprise Party in the Adirondacks. The RIBS were fantastic and the Pulled Pork and Pulled Chicken were savory and delicious. All made it to the site without a hitch and piping hot. Thanks for your special care!!! Very pleased and will use again. Kat

Recently went here for the first time and will definitely be going back. Tried the pulled pork sandwich, fries, and wings. The pulled pork is very tender and at least on the sandwich comes with a BBQ sauce. Fries are nice and crispy. The chicken wings, you get whole wings, and they are among the best wings I’ve ever had. They are lightly breaded, perfectly cooked so the meat basically falls off the bone, and super juicy. I got the hot sauce on the wings and they have a nice spice. Can’t say enough about how delicious the wings are.

Worst 15.00 I’ve ever spent. Ribs tasted as if they’ve been heated and re-heated and possibly re-heated again. I had to be the first customer and the fact that the ribs were very tough and dry led me to believe there was nothing fresh about them. The mac & cheese was very bland with a gritty texture, and finally the collards were undercooked. Collards shouldn’t crunch when you bite them…best thing was the store bought box corn bread

Love the new Scotia location! Very convenient and always a place to park close out front or in the back. I had the beef brisket sandwich with fries this time…delicious. I had the black bean burger last time, also yummy! Great family run business. Support your local small business!

The BBQ ribs were awesome. Fall off the bones delicious. And the collared greens was soooooo delicious. Really hot from the pot and spices were perfect to compliment the BBQ. Another reason to go back to Rotterdam Mall. Oooppss its Via Port Mall.

Homemade food served very hot. Ribs were great, I would’ve rated 5starts but it just needed a little more rib sauce. I’ll definitely be back to order again.

Dry mac & cheese, bland greens, and crockpot boiled ribs that taste like they’ve been sitting for hooouuurrrsss… The only thing half decent was the box-mix cornbread. This place is either a money laundering front or is on the verge of shutting down (hopefully soon). Either way I’d stay away.

Steaks are healthy in size and meat, Burgers are super filling. Very good food, a hidden gem in the town of Rotterdam. Owners are friendly and nice.

The WORST brisket I have ever had. So tough we couldn’t eat it. It cost $58 for 2 brisket sandwiches, baked beans and coleslaw. Waste of money.
