Absolutely horrible ribs. They say they’re hickory smoked, but my half rack had no smoke ring, no smoke flavor, and no rub whatsoever. These ribs never saw a smoker, and likely came out of either a pressure cooker or a crock pot. The potato salad was luke warm. The baked beans were unremarkable. My buddy had the pulled pork (or chopped pork) and said it was more like pulled pork soup. I’ve eaten at likely 50 ribs joints, and this would rank in bottom 5.

The best barbeque place ever. I’ve had BBQ in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Louisiana, Mississipi, Texas and South Carolina…this places beats them all and never have I had fried okra or hushpuppies this good. Wytheville’s dining secret.

I would not recommend for catering job. I attended a wedding where they showed up late with the food I mean wedding guests were already at the reception when they showed up, the food was cold, the portions were not very well regulated resulting in they ran out of certain items, and the service from the servers was rude and disrespectful.

We were traveling from Lynchburg Va to Tennessee looking for a quaint place to eat. We found this place and it by far was the best. I would completely recommend this restaurant. Great food great service!
