The views were nice, the restaurant was clean. The food was overall average in my opinion, the shrimp were very tasty though in my dish, the rest was a bit lackluster. The service was adequate, nothing special, they got our order wrong and tried to give us food we didn’t order, but we got it straightened out. Perhaps this was just an off day for them, we’ll give them a try again in the future.

Hole in the wall type of place at a boat launch with a lot of character. Wevstopped for lunch. I had a grilled chicken sandwich with a dark porter and my wife had a chicken finger sandwich with some iced tea. We both really like the food and the beer was top notch. Quick friendly service and we would definitely stop again.

Never been here before and will never be back. Got to the restaurant before 4:00 maybe around 3:50ish. Our waitress was not friendly whatsoever. We ordered crab dip and it came decently fast but not the best tasting. We also ordered the tacos, didn’t know that adding on mahi was 9$ EXTRA. Waitress never informed us when we ordered it and it didn’t say it was an up charge on the menu. Another family of 4 came after us and had ordered and received their food. Our waitress came back to our table and asked us if we had our tacos yet.. we said no clearly, and she pulled up the order on the ordering device and showed the prices. She said “see it’s been rung up so it’s ready” – well why didn’t she just go get it? She went to go check on it. Came back to us and said “someone is bringing your food but I have to go my shift is up.” So our waitress ended up leaving, and we gave it another 10 mins before we thought about getting management. Another waitress came and brought out the tacos and she actually took off the tacos from the bill so we only paid for the crab dip. We thanked her for that, but we still will not be back. I’ve never been to a restaurant where the waitress 1) leaves the building 2) doesn’t come to check on us when they know our food is 30+ mins late getting to our table 3) doesn’t off any kind of adjustment (we had to ask the other waitress that brought our food)

Excellent place to drink a cold beer on a hot evening. We had fun and loved the atmosphere. Music was great and everyone seemed to be having a good time. We will return.

Came in the end of February. I’d wait until the weather warms back up and they’re busy. Mango salsa for mahi looked/seemed old. Sandwhich bun was hard on top and soggy on bottom. Mahi was in about 7 pieces and poorly seasoned. Also got the peel and eat shrimp. Would have had better luck using sandpaper to remove the shells off the shrimp. They were mangled and often in pieces. Also couldn’t sit or eat comfortably without being bundled up in a coat. I know it’s not their prime time of the year but honestly rather than putting out sub par food, they should perhaps close the doors when they aren’t busy enough to push out fresh quality food.

The food here was okay. My wife got grilled mahi tacos and asked to make sure there was no spice (blackened). I ordered the fried shrimp tacos just to have a backup in case my wife couldn’t eat hers. Well, she didn’t get the spice until taking a bite from the 2nd taco. So we switched so she could have my 2nd taco. Upon eating my taco, she just wanted the shrimp and opened it up and started eating the shrimp. Well, she discovered spice in this as there was a lone jalapeno hidden in the lettuce. The French fries were pretty damn good though.
The service started out good as a bartender came to help and then a waitress made sure we were being helped. Then it went down hill. We watched people come in and out from the main dining room before we even got our food to give you a length of time it took.
We chose this place due to the Google reviews, price, and location as we ride the motorcycle from Emerald Isle to enjoy the ride and scenery.

Great food and friendly service. Our food came our fresh, fries were piping hot and everything was delicious. I had the Cuban with Island Fries. Hubs had the Caribbean chicken wrap. I had some of his – tasted fantastic. Nice beer selection. I had the Reef Keeper IPA on draft.

Stopped in here on a Friday around 4pm for a couple of beers and small bites. The staff makes this place. They had some regulars hanging out. The beer on tap selection is decent and reasonably priced. I had some Buffalo shrimp that were prepared well, but not local in early October? You can watch the action at the boat ramp from the bar. Everyone that entered after me walked up from across the bridge. Giving it a neighborhood bar feel.
