Great food and friendly service. Our food came our fresh, fries were piping hot and everything was delicious. I had the Cuban with Island Fries. Hubs had the Caribbean chicken wrap. I had some of his – tasted fantastic. Nice beer selection. I had the Reef Keeper IPA on draft.

Very nice restaurant with a cool Tiki Bar atmosphere. Visited on a Friday night and had a wait of about 30 min. Buffalo shrimp appetizer was good, shrimp and oysters also very good. Definitely recommend, but plan on a couple drinks at the Tiki bar while you wait.

Very friendly people and had excellent service sitting outside by the bar. I came on a Friday and got the grilled chicken sandwich that was on special and it was very good, not dry at all. The beer on draft was cold and we were able to sit in the shade, with a breeze, listening to classic rock. Can’t beat that for a lunch break from work with great views as well. This was my second time coming here and don’t plan for it to be my last l.

First time at BWJ’s and will definitely go back. The menu is straight forward with lots of great choices. Excellent drink menu. Great atmosphere and the live music makes it an instant favorite.

We had a quick bite to eat for lunch while passing through. Our party of 9 was able to sit outside with our dog with no reservation. They provided a bowl of cool water for our dog. Also, the food came out quickly and all of the items were exactly as we ordered! This is exactly the kind of service that makes me want to come back every time I’m close and recommend them to friends.

Backwater Jack’s is fun! I love the novelty of the ship shaped and themed restaurant and the food is always really good! They have live music often but it’s a fun place to visit no matter. Highly recommend coming here! Servers have always been extremely friendly and helpful, too! I’m glad we have a restaurant like Backwater Jack’s in town.

First time visit on a busy Saturday evening. Wish I could remember our waiters name as he was very friendly and attentive and our drink then food orders were taken and delivered very quickly. We had heard good things about the place but left a tad disappointed. The shrimp burger I ordered was basically 6 or 7 individually fried shrimp on a plain hamburger bun. Not very tasty and hard to eat without the shrimp popping out of the bun. Was expecting something like crab cake type of “burger” except made with a shrimp base. Side of sweet potato fries were soggy and tasteless. Much better were the island fries my partner ordered.
