This is huge and just 3 dollars. Feels like your mom made it for you at home. Such a warm feeling while eating this. Not too sweet, crunchy outside, soft and moist inside! Finally, I found my bakery in town. The lady who works there is very nice and has a great smile . Great place to stop by.

Third time visiting Backus, tried take away and “enjoying there”, quality is good, pastries large and flavorful…..but the prices are too high, not fair value, a loaf of sourdough, coffee cake slice, scone and cinnamon roll for $37 is excessive and the coffee is unexceptional. On a Sunday morning no one was there, parking lot quiet, 1/4 mile up the street All-Joy Donuts have a line waiting for some of the best and most creative donuts and cinnamon rolls I have had, great quality, mid-high price but much better value than Backus. Different clientele? Not so sure, I go to both, I will be surprised if Backus is still here in a year, unfortunate, better business plan, more approachable pricing and good marketing could make them a hit….good luck.

I got the gluten free blueberry scone – I hardly ever write reviews but it was SO good. Not dry, massive blueberry flavor, the drizzled icing on top was perfection, awesome hint of salt to bring it all together. Wish I took a picture of it but I was gluttonous and maowed it so fast. Well done!

A wonderful addition to OTB. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Apple turnover “was” best ever. The fresh beignet was made to request with cinnamon sugar. The baker and staff were especially friendly as they showcased other delicious choices like scones and muffins in several flavors. Next time… bigger box. Tell your friends.

I searched them out because I was looking for good sourdough bread. What I found was over baked rock hard bread that I can barely cut through. I might have been good if removed from the oven about 10 to 15 minutes earlier. But the scones are amazing moist not dry cheddar chive was a big hit. I might try them again but not for bread

I stopped in here early one Saturday morning and there was only one person working. He was so amazing and his customer service was top-notch! It was my first time going there so I had no idea what to expect, so he gave me samples of each thing everything was so moist and flavorful. I always thought scones were hard but theirs was so buttery and soft! He broke down everything he was so accommodating I told him that his customer service was absolutely amazing. I spent $40 and we’ll gladly do it again! This is a must go to Bakery. The location is amazing, the food is amazing and the service!

Got a very thin slice of the banana pudding cake and shocked to hear it was almost $9. It was OK but nothing to brag about. Everything looked delicious in the cases. I’m not sure if the gentleman helping us sliced it thin. Possibly but that’s not anything we’ll ever pay that much for again.
