This BBQ is top notch. The brisket and turkey were my favorite. Super friendly staff and the cashier girl was absolutely adorable. This is real BBQ with sauce always on the side.

I’m not one to write google reviews but dang just had to for this place. It’s worth the drive and the money. The brisket was actually moist it basically melted in my mouth (have had a very hard time finding good brisket here in Ohio), pulled pork was very tasty and the sides were delicious. High key would recommend this spot. I’m a spicy guy but I think original house sauce was my favorite out of the 3 I tried. Can’t wait to get in for these ribs next time before they sell out!

Hands down the best BBQ! I never was one for a lot of the BBQ meats at other places, but this one is definitely different as it has the best tasting meats around. First time we tried the 3 meat tray (turkey-brisket-pulled pork)and its was so good. This guy knows how to make excellent BBQ meats. Stopped by the other day and they had ribs. I got 1/2 slab and again these are the best ribs we ever had. We definitely will continue to buy our BBQ from Back Country. Everyone there that I had met, seems to be super nice. One bonus is, they will be open as much as possible thru the winter! Excellent food and great people and service—what more can you ask for……

This will be my go-to for genuine smoked meats. The turkey & brisket melts in your mouth! Cant wait to try the ribs & pulled pork. Unless Im mistaken, he makes his own sauce too – the sweet sauce was well-balanced with just the right kick for a spice-wimp like myself.

Been here a couple times since I moved down the street. These guys are absolutely for real. I have tried their turkey, ribs, brisket and it was all fantastic. They are always super friendly and their price points are solid. I would highly recommend this hidden gem.

It’s a bbq stand but it was excellent. I got the beef brisket and my husband got the 3 meat plate. We got the cornbread and smoked Mac n cheese as our sides. The cornbread is as good as my own. We were on our way home from North Carolina and it’s off the beaten path but it is well worth it.

Where to start? I almost never bother to take the time to leave Google reviews. This place deserves it and then some. Like others, I first experienced their food when they were at Rockmill. When I couldn’t them there I was desperate and searching. I thought it would live only in my memory like Jack from Titanic and the old lady’s mind.
Then today I drove down the road and spotted the smoke and the truck. Absolutely amazing BBQ. Tender, full flavored meats, complimentary sauces, fantastic service, and friendly to boot. The cornbread and Mac and cheese will make your tastebuds dance. There have been many places where the amount of money I spent on lack luster food make me feel soulless and I don’t want to try anymore. But THIS food. This BBQ. It restores my faith that someone out there has good taste and amazing cooking skills. Thank you Backcountry Barbecue.

My daughter has a volleyball tournament near this place, so I discovered Backcountry Barbecue by accident: WOW was that a treat! I had a pulled pork sandwich and half of my wife’s brisket (mac+cheese, slaw). Exceeded my wildest expectations.
