Hearty American breakfasts are offered at this casual, simple joint that also serves burgers.

This is a cute little diner in Prescott Valley! Our server Tanya B was super attentive and very friendly! I started off with their drip coffee, which was really good. I love traditional diner coffee.
I got The Country Boy, substitute bacon for the sausage patty. The bacon, eggs, and has brown tasted good, but the biscuits and gravy lacked flavor. My friend go their waffle and said it hit the spot for a classic diner waffle!
Overall, this place was clean, great service, and the food was tasty. I would definitely come back here to try some of their other menu items!

Had a great lunch (but we ordered breakfast food) here with family. Everything was great! The portions are generous, the food flavorful, and the service was quick and friendly.

Fast, friendly service and the food was INCREDIBLE. My favorite item: the cinnamon roll of course! Definitely worth stopping for a meal whether you are just driving through, staying for the weekend, or live in Prescott. Also love supporting local businesses.

This is a great spot for traditional breakfast options. They have plenty of indoor seating as well as a large covered dog friendly patio area. I tried the veggie scramble with hash browns which were cooked perfectly with a nice crunch to them. I also got their homemade giant cinnamon roll which was so good! It was warm with the perfect amount of icing as well as melted butter on top. So decadent! My husband got the Big Wave breakfast which I closed eggs, bacon, hash browns and waffle with a homemade blueberry topping which was very good. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive and there is plenty of parking available.

I give this a 5 star, not in the way of a fancy restaurant, but in the perfect family dining experience. The staff was friendly, the restaurant was clean, it had music playing at the perfect volume you could hear but still have a conversation and the food was excellent!
I ordered the 5 Car – Hash browns covered with chicken fried steak, 3 over medium eggs, topped with country gravy & cheese. If I had to find one thing to say negative in this review it was that the gravy needed a little spicing up with salt and pepper. It was a tasty meal and a huge portion!
The server gave me a complimentary cinnamon bun for my birthday and I have to say…I don’t usually order cinnamon rolls because they inevitably disappoint me because they’re dry…not this one! You’d be a fool to go to the Back Burner and not order one of these! It was warm, covered in frosting and the whole thing is gooey, sweet, heaven.
We’ll definitely return here when we’re in Prescott for another visit!

I had ordered the Chicken Fried Steak breakfast. The Chicken fried steak was flavorful, thin and had a nice breading. The White Gravy that topped it was flavorful. I did not care for the Scrambled Eggs, which were over cooked, dry and lacked flavor. The menu states, you get two eggs, I think the Hens stopped laying the morning I was there. I had only one egg. The hashbrowns were tasteless, slightly undercooked and tasted like they sat around awhile and were served cool. I did enjoy the Biscuit, topped with their white gravy. It was good. This is only the second time I had eaten at the Backburner since they opened up, now I remember why. I did tip my server $9.00 for my $20.00 Breakfast, she was very friendly.

I love the small town vibe of this restaurant. Friendly staff, well seasoned food, and the cozy atmosphere were just a few of the reasons I loved my meal here. It was my fiancé’s birthday and he received a huge cinnamon roll free of charge, and one of the best eggs Benedict I’ve had in a while. Service was incredibly efficient and I cant wait to come back!

As a family, we have gone to Backburner for many years without disappointment. We requested for BackBurner to cater our wedding day after brunch for family and friends who came from out of town and BackBurner exceeded our expectations once again. This family own restaurant literally makes you feel like family and is very kid friendly. The owner Nick is very down to earth and treats you as if you are a long term friend just coming over to have some amazing down home cooking and chit chat. The staff are always friendly and accommodating to needs and always make you feel welcomed the moment you step foot in the door and you never leave hungry. Whether you are going in to eat and look at their amazing decor, getting married or having a party, BackBurner is the place to go.
