Hard to resist a patio food and drink spot on a sunny afternoon. Pleasant atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating. Ordered a few oysters from an outdoor trailer which were OK, and a few drinks from the register inside. You have to place order there. Service staff were very nice but had some challenges keeping track of our orders. Little scoop of salad, maybe the kale, was edible but unimpressive.

What a great spot! The food was delicious, the outdoor seating was spacious and lovely, the band and DJ was so fun, the owner, Nicole was a delight and the staff was excellent! I will be back! Thanks for letting me offer astrology readings!

Food was very unique and tasty, which was great because I always want to try new things, so definitely visit if you want a unique experience.
A few negative notes, bartender was not too friendly, not rude but seemed like they did not want to be there. I was very cold in there as well. Not enough seating, and unfortunately a painting of a naked woman on the wall for no apparent reason.
Worth a visit despite the negatives.

Been coming here for several years now. I think 2019, but the memory is fading, hence these Google reviews/ journal.

The food is always good. Menu changed up a bit since the first time. It’s got “ East Asian” flavors in a lot of their dishes, aka it’s never bland, although sometimes it can be a bit too salty. I say that because my partner in crime is salt sensitive. I hate saying Asian flavors, because Asia is so damn big, it never makes sense. But to pinpoint a country would be hard for me. Malaysian could ring true because that’s one country that has both south and East Asian flavors.

Service has changed too, but that’s happening all over the country, me thinks.

Expect to get but my mosquitoes if dining outside during warmer times. The inside, especially the front half is cozy during cooler months.

When I’m in town, with a limited amount of time and room to eat, I somehow always make it here. Like the other restaurants, the hours and days they’re open can be confusing depending on season.

We had dinner outside. It was perfect. My kids really didn’t behave but nobody cared. We ordered 3 plates to share and drinks. I thought it was pleasant. The noodles were salty but my kids loved it . I had the bao buns .it was delicious. I liked my waiter and the fact that they are giving you a biper . It was fast and nice.

Nasty bartender with attitude! Beware, since it’s self service, and you order with her. They never got the memo about the basic etiquette of restaurant business- be nice to the customers. Ok food, great menu, great Brooklyn-like raw atmosphere and good value for money.

You know the drill. 4 BITES. Had the Lobster Roll at Oyster Bar. I think it’s the same place. 8.1 out of 10. Was famished after the parade and it hit the spot. Not overly mayo’d. Toast on point. Generous meat amount.

We had an amazing dinner at Backbar this evening! The restaurant gave kind of bohemian vibes and the service was amazing. Everyone was SO friendly and accommodating. We brought our dog because we saw it was dog friendly online. Fully intending to have to sit outside we were pleasantly surprised when they said we could sit outside or anywhere we wanted inside. There were plenty of other dogs inside too and we just loved the vibe of it. The food was so different and good! We got the cumin spiced tots, fried lemongrass chicken dumplings, pork belly bao buns, and dan dan noodles. Everything was delicious and came out very quickly. We tried the pineapple cider and kolsch which we also enjoyed. My only complaint about this place is that they are priceyyyyy. I was surprised by how much some of the stuff cost, but the quality was spot on. I hope to come back again and definitely recommend it if you are in the area!

Dog friendly inside and on the patio (when in season). Atmosphere and service was good. Our waitress was super nice, and she even brought our pup a water bowl. Food was a tad overprice, not ridiculous but realistically could stand to be $3-4 less per dish. They were out of a lot of item during our visit (no shumai, no burger, no lemon lime drink, no crisps) so it was a bit annoying. Other than that it was a fun and easy visit. Food was good.
